The Predators unveiled their logo, a Sabre-toothed tiger, in Nashville's downtown First American Center on September 25, 1997, 26 years after a fang and foreleg bone of a Sabre-toothed tiger were found in a cave just below the building's address.

In May of 1971, excavation began at the downtown Nashville site of what today is the 28-story First American Center. Construction workers drilled through 20 feet of solid rock before coming to a soft muddy area. Further digging revealed a cave containing the nine-inch fang and a foreleg bone of a Sabre-toothed tiger, extinct for at least 10,000 years.

No practice today for the Flyers so the lineups are scheduled to be changed after tomorrow's skate.

I'm going to this one. Got seats 5 rows from the glass in the zone we attack twice. Cannot wait. Gonna be wearing my new orange and black shoes (our record is something like 11-1 when I wear them), so hopefully that'll help haha.

This would also be the first game Timonen and Hartnell have played in Nashville with the Flyers.

Jesus, those 3rd jerseys they had were atrocious. Happy they don't wear them anymore.

Anyway, Flyers offense better show up on this one, cause the Preds D is a lot better then New Yorks.

A poster I "know" on another board once referred to Nashville as "Defensive Prospect-opolis". I thought that was funny.... cuz it's true.

Just win boys. Just win.

Let's go boys, we need a MUCH better offensive effort. Please put Powe back in, we need the energy!

Excited to watch Wilson play as a BU fan.

And JVR should be psyched to play against his old WJC centre....

Powe is never coming out again - they can't win without him.

Yeah, they're still very good friends I hear, perfect time for JVR to have his first NHL fight.

Just win this one. Also, what is annoying me, is that my desktop can't access this site anymore, it just won't load, but I'm on my laptop and everything works fine.
