Stay tuned. This probably means that the City of Glendale isn't budging on the lease.

I'll give this another 20 minutes. If there's still not even a hint of source or substantiation, it's getting deleted.

It's a good source from the local media. Again, it's just a rumor.

If this rumor is then unless someone else is willing to step in we might be in for another long court battle.
Who knows!

Wow this better be false, everyone has to work together here to make this deal possible, I mean no one side is going to get everything that they want, but dammit make this happen.

Either that or the NHL isn't willing to let IE have 5 out of market regular season games.
I'm not surprised if this fell through.

On Fox 10 just now Jude La Cava said that the Ice Edge bid is falling apart but did not go into specifics, he also mentioned that Bettman was demanding that the COG reconstruct the lease. He said something else but they cut him off after that.

Let the conspiracy theories begin. If this is true, it brings to mind 2 immediate questions:
1. Was this the plan all along? (Oh well we tried)
2. What was that letter last week all about? (If this is true, Mr. Jones has quite the big set on him)
