Markus Seikola having a career year

Thought I'd pass this along. He now has 11 points, which is a career high. He'll be 23 years old at the end of the season, he's an average prospect at best, but it's still note-worthy... kind of.

I remember the year he was drafted, he had 2 great seasons and Leafs were excited about his future, and he was climbing up the {rps[ect ranking, but than he had consescutive sub-par seasons until this year. I remember watching in the WJC and he looks great for the Finns he was probably there best defencemen and he was a hitting machine.

All about Prospect Development ..

Now at 23 Seikola is mature enough both Physically and Mentally

He would be a great candidate for the AHL and Baby Leafs next season ..

Give him direction and apply some good prospect development tools on him and see what happens ..

So often particularly Euros are drafted and then often just forgotten ..

Steffan Kronwall would be another candidate to come over ..
