yeah, that was the intent behind my question, but personally, I think we should keep Metro over A kost on the PP.

Watching sportscentre highlights, they just said you couldn't catch what Avery did on camera but he got 2 minutes for roughing and 5 minutes for slashing..scum
Seems that slash caught Gomer

Sorry; the guy/gal who uploaded the video did not allow embedding and I did not feel like downloading and reloading it; you will need to watch it on YT.
I respectfully disagree. Lurtz put up way to much of a fight!

Start at the 5:11 mark and it's a much better example of what the Habs did to the Rags tonight.

Demers says Laps and not Pyatt should sit once Cammy comes back.

I can't wait to see Cammalleri on this lineup!!

I just hope that Bergeron will stay on the press box for the remainder of the season and playoff! We don't need him.

If he injured Gomez, I'll personally go to New York and pummel him that little runt with a tire iron.

Flyers/Preds going to a shootout.

Preds got jobbed late. bad penalty call followed by a non-call on Timonen let Pronger tie it with about 3 min to go

Looks like right now the Habs magic number is 8.5

It could go two ways with cammy. Perhaps they give him shorter minutes with Moore and Sk

Or they move Pyatt down to 3 or 4.

I'm thinking laps sits either way

Somebody should tell Pouliot to stop passing the puck so damn much. At one point he got passed a Ranger D having himself a clear path to the net only to pass it backwards. Id like to see him hold on the puck more, he would open the play even more and give himself some opportunities to unleash his big shot.

It was the 600th meeting between Habs and Rags

Montreal is 318-185-94-3 against the Rangers, including a 122-122-54-2 mark in 300 games at New York.

Ownage !

A perfect road game from the Habs. They did not allow the Rangers to get any quality scoring chances and deserved better on the scoreboard.

They are getting healthy at the right time and have shown that with a healthy lineup, especially with Markov in it, the Habs have a very good team. And Moore seems to have really stabilized the bottom-six with his play and deserves to be re-signed. His play with Kosty Jr. and Moen have been outstanding. I think he would appreciate a long-term contract given that he has played for six different teams in the last four seasons.

TSN said we are +9 in 5 on 5 play sice the break. we were -15 in the 6 games leading up to the break. We lead the league in this category.

So they are 196-63-40-1 at home against the Rags? That is an absolutely mind blowing number...

Dave Morissette Shame on you !

Shame on you Dave Morissette (RDS) for picking the Rangers to beat the Habs prior to the Game ! You should know better than that...ha ha ha.......I guess they proved you wrong ! You were one of my favorite players here in Fredericton and most likely the toughest man to lace up the skates at the Aitken Center(except MAYBE Jerry Flemming), but when the Habs are as HOT as they have been and were again tonight, stand behind the team man.......PICK A WINNER ! HABS !!!!

Avery two-handed Gomez in the back of the leg (received 5 minutes for slashing) with less than 7 seconds left and then roughed him up. A bit of a brawl as Habs players came to Gomez' defence but no fight. Avery's a tool.

The 4th line played fine. Lapierre and Darche play really well together. Both are big bodies who can forecheck and cycle the puck. With Metro, they had some great shifts in the offensive zone cycling and taking the puck to the net, especially in the 2nd period. Lappy should have had a goal tonight. He missed two great chances.

Best 4th line of the season.

LOL... L'attaque à 5 now saying Lapierre should be a priority BEFORE Moore and Metropolit.

If somehow we could package him with a goalie this summer and keep both of Moore and Metro, I'd be extatic.
