Palffy also had to come around and learn some defensive responsibility. He didn't battle in the corners, but he improved. Likewise, for Cammalleri, he doesn't have to battle along the boards. He does, however, have to get involved in the play in all three zones.

Sure, every team needs guys like Klatt, but not every player has to play like him in order to win. You've got to play to to players strengths and not try and make every player fit some mold.

You see him as a tradeable asset? Sure, if everybody is. A guy like St. Louis didn't automatically get better, he finally found a situation where he was used correctly. 5 years from now I don't want to see Cam leading the league in scoring, and wonder why we traded him for a washed up player X.
I seem to remember that one of those concussions happened off the ice...

Regardless of coaching, Frolov tends to gravitate to the corners. Cammy has just been asked to use the same enthusiasm he has for scoring in the neutral and defensive zones.

By tradeable asset, I'm implying that Cammy is the type of player that may bring more in return than he is worth, just because of the gaudy offensive numbers.

I believe (though could very well be wrong) that he got nailed in the head with a soccer ball. A soccer ball is ordinarily unlikely to give a person a concussion (though not implausible) but if you are a member of the Kings, you should probably avoid any sort of contact to the head.

I have him on my farm team in my fantasy league.
Does anyone think he'll be a great fantasy player eventually and is he worth keeping?
I personally don't know much about him. I drafted him because he was ranked the best available player.
And also when is how long is it gonna be til he remains with LA permantly?

The biggest knock on him is his attitude. He is a very good player, with a decent shot, good speed, and extremely energetic in the offensive zone. His neutral zone and defensive zone could use some work, but I've more heard complaints about his attitude.

Once the season begins, it's very likely that Cammalleri will be in a Kings uniform.

A soccer ball to the head? That's a red flag indicating an injury-prone player if I've ever seen one.

Have you ever been hit in the head with a soccer ball -that was kicked with any velocity? It is no joking matter...ya, it isn't exactly a puck to the head but it can still mess you up.... they can be kicked at 140+km's an hour...

I have had one friend who had his jaw snapped from a soccer ball and another who got KO'd/concussion 4x from them(he was an insane goalie!).... they are friggen nasty if kicked hard enough.

Now...that kinda begs the question: Why would someone kick the ball that hard at Cammalleri's head area??

The team used to kick the ball around/juggle as a way to stay loose before games.
