You can't compare OV's to Alfie's. OV skated full speed from center and shoved Campbell right in the numbers 10 feet from the boards. It's not inconceivable that Campbell could of broken his neck, at worst Beuchimin could of lost a couple teeth if he caught the dasher.
I don't see the Alfie hit as particularly bad. He made contact from the blind side for sure, but it was shoulder on shoulder -- Beauchemin sort of spun into the boards, he wasn't driven straight in.
The call on Sutton was just a mistake by the ref who made the original call, who thought it was an elbow. It wasn't, but he'd already called a penalty, so he resorted to calling it roughing. Total BS, of course. It was a textbook clean hit.

I agree, if you watch it, he hit the side of Beauchemins pants
Landsberg just put the question to his panel, usually at least one or two of his guests take the bait and agree with the questions he supposes. In this case the whole panel agreed his setup was ********, and that it wasn't a dirty hit, Alfie came from the side, he let up, and Beachmin had his head down. Landsberg tried to argue with them for a bit but no one was having it, pretty funny.
Pierre is bringing it in next question, so serious, so many superlatives to describe people and things he likes, just classic stuff.

1 guy agreed with him, but hes a radio host on the fan 590 so that makes sense

I don't necessarily think he was saying the hit the was dirty, he was just arguing that track record should be irrelevant and just because a player has a "good" reputation ie. Alfie doesn't mean you shouldn't look at suspensions.
Landsberg also asked whether the biggest turtle in the NHL was Avery or Chis Neil.
I forgot just how biased and obnoxious the Toronto sports press are because the Leafs have been out of the playoffs for awhile and thier fans in the media haven't had thier idiocy ramped up quite so high for a few years.
