I love the late start. I have night class after work tonight. I can actually watch most of this game.

Whether that is a good thing or not depends on how much Boucher sucks tonight ...

At least those guys are high end goalie prospects, not ECHL dudes

Works for me. A full hour an a half to watch "The Beatdown in Beantown" or for you nostalgia fans "Pin the Tail on Donkey Lips"

The Flyers recalled goalie Jeremy Duchesne from the AHL's Adirondack Phantoms yesterday to temporarily serve as Boucher's backup. Johan Backlund, the Phantoms' usual starter, would have been recalled but has a slight groin pull, Holmgren said.

Backlund, who has much more experience than Duchesne, skated yesterday and could join the Flyers this weekend.

"Once Johan is ready," Holmgren said, "we'll make the switch."

Wait until you have a child. I almost NEVER get to watch a whole game live. Most nights I can catch the 3rd period after he's in bed, then I watch the rest on tape after.... You get used to it. And you can FF thru commercials and intermissions. Only takes about 80 minutes to watch a whole game...

So hypothetically if Boosh were to get pulled we would use our 5th string goalie in march? Nice. Lavy has to get the lines rolling because they are going to need to sustain pressure like they did against Nashville from here on out.

I dont think Lavy would pull him. Sadly if Boosh let in 6 goals, I think Lavy would leave him in there

Prior to Game 7 against the Islanders in 1987, Keenan took the crew to a comedy club in Philadelphia. After the team won, that get-together was called a moment where everyone relaxed (after being up 3-1 in that series, the series went to the seventh game). If they lost? People would have had a different reaction.
