The Preds have really impressed me a few times this game. There have been a few shifts where we actually looked scary in a good way. I'm shocked.

Rinne playing well, and we have strung together an impressive few wins. Keep it going boys!

Hahaha Fantastic

Strong game for the most part. Didn't take a lot of penalties. The few shots we did allow were mainly poor angles. Rinne was positionally sound for those shots that were good scoring chances.

Can't say how much I'm enjoying Colin Wilson. Seems like he's going to be about as good in front of the camera as Weber is, but as long as he's as good on the ice as Weber I'm ok with it.

Good to see a top line clicking again. I don't think we've had a top line produce as efficiently as this one since Radulov skipped town.

Go get yourselves some Frostees. Here's to Saturday

That line has real chemistry, and has sparked Arnott when we need him to play well more than any other time of the year. And Boyd has started to look comfortable in teh system, I really like what he is bringing now. That seems to be a great pickup.

The word for this team right now is BALANCE. All four lines are a scoring or threatening to. The team is playing its defensive schemes soundly and Rinne is playing with confidence again. One could start to feel good about this team if it were not for history of this franchise. It seems like a team built for both regular and post-season play.

Another great crowd (16,615) to go along with another great performance out of Pekka and FROSTIES!!!

Boyd with a great game is really starting to show the two-way skill that was discussed when he was acquired. Would be great to see him get a goal, but I'll take it when he's working hard to set up his teammates as well...

Wilson just flourishing with first line ice time. Really excited to see him continue to develop down the stretch...

Pekka really stepping up his game when it's been needed the most...

All in all, just another GREAT night to be a Predators fan!!!

This team is starting to catch it's groove. Hopefully we can work our way up to 5 and into a matchup with the Coyotes in Round 1. We certainly have a favorable schedule to make it happen with the way we our playing.

Great game by the Preds but the Wild didn't look like they were giving much effort at all.

There's so many good plays to talk about. But for me the thing about the game can be said in one word ... Leipold !

Good to see Hornqvist going.

Wilson is doing what we hoped when he was drafted. I'm no longer worried about the man's speed or skating limiting him. He's clearly fast enough, and man does he know how to control the puck.

Boyd is refreshing. That kid looks like a player to me. I only want him to get a goal soon so that he doesn't start pressing. I like his defense, and quickness. Arnott playing well. Rinne!

Looking good. I hope they don't wear down playing with only one night off between games.

Did Trotz bag on Ellis in the postgame by saying something about the level of play Rinne is capable of that they don't get from Ellis? I hope I heard wrong, whether it's true or not..

Nice to see us firing on all cylinders tonight. The PP is finally doing what I was hoping for, controlling the puck in the offensive zone and making the other teams PK work hard to kill the penalty. Solid effort by the entire team tonight. A few gaffes here and there still but overall, a solid effort. I just hope Legwand's foot is ok after the shot he took from Smithson. The one time Smithson does take a shot he shoots it right into Legwand. Bright move Smitty.

Hahah. Sounds good.

I saw 'ya. I was gonna come say hi but I kept running into people I knew during intermission and got sidetracked.

Wonderful game. Great crowd and I think I just sold 4 season tickets to newcomers for next year. Instant addiction.

Pekka Rinne now with 12 shutouts in 94 career starts...a ratio of 1 shutout for every 7.83 starts...

Thanks! I kept checking over on your board to get another opinion on the game, but noticed you were offline and alas no real action in the GDT...it really stinks when there is no stream for the game...

Sorry, one of my friends got into Harvard so that took priority over the Wild.

I was hoping it would be like the Calgary GTD thread there.

You definitely set a very high standard for yourself with that thread, but I have noticed more interaction in the GDT's since then...

And that's why I don't think I can pull it off again, although it got close with the Buffalo game last week. All in all I view that as a good thing.

Yeah, I agree...definitely a good thing when you see more interaction on the boards. Very happy with the growth of our community here on HF this season and hope to continue to see it grow...

Oh definitely. I know that HF doesn't exactly match up with how most Minnesota hockey fans view the game, but it has always bugged me how there is a non-existent fanbase here and everywhere else I post.
