Dallas ended up picking 8th last year, and I'd rather NOT see them tank in an attempt to pick higher this year, but it seems there are many who do.

I think if we can fix the problems on the back end, the Stars will return to respectability, and hopefully be a regular in the postseason once more. Til then, though, I'll have to rely on performances like last night's to stay optimistic.

Good luck in the playoffs, the Kings are one of the few Western teams I can stand.
I blame 87% of your problems on Crawford and 4% on Crawford's hair.

Yeah, he hasn't exactly thrived in Big D, making questionable roster moves all year. Really seems to like Krys Barch for some reason.

Gonna give him another full season before I name him as the "biggest" problem this team has, though.

Hope he is ok, although him not playing tomorrow night wouldn't break my heart.

Blackhawks have lost three in a row. The Kings must be ready to play at the start tomorrow. The Hawks could be missing three defensemen.

Time after time, after time, after time.....

Brian Hayward proves again and again, that he is the worst commentator in all of sports.

It's sickening that Hayward thought Seabrook's fall was intentional to try to draw a penalty. He apologized in the postgame.

I had no problem with the Seabrook hit on Perry. It looked like Seabrook hit Perry in the shoulder and it was his face that hit the boards unlike what Hayward said. Perry was bent over as well.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I don't think Seabrook was head hunting there, and Perry had the puck he should be expecting to get hit when he is in tight quarters like that.

Seabrook didn't have the puck, and Wisniewski gave him a bit of a cheap shot there. That's the kind of stuff the players need to police. Wis should realize that next time it could be him on the other end of that hit.

Still no excuse......that is classless.

Hayward owes Seabrook dinner or a bottle of aspirin IMO.

So the Yotes are down 3-0 and come back to win in a SO bye bye shot at 4th seed.

They were all horrible goals against too. Looks like a tank job by Florida. Did you see the tying goal? It was a flip from center ice.

Phoenix with some huge deadline deals.

What I will say - Phoenix is ****ing lucky. I have watched the NHL.com replays, and they have gotten every single fluke goal in the book for them. The dump-in from center ice just completes the repertoire.

Not to diminish what they have done, but they are one of the luckier teams in the NHL it seems.

San Jose @ Calgary
Detroit @ Edmonton

Things could get even tighter tomorrow, hopefully SJ can help us out, second half of a back to back and SJ is struggling, but lets hope.

One thing also to consider is the Kings are 6 points up on Calgary, in reality its 7 points, because the Kings are going to win the tiebreaker. So Calgary has to make up 7 pts on the Kings in their final 12 games, without any head to head matchups.

If the Kings were to somehow miss the playoffs it would be an epic collapse, comparable to the 95 Angels and 08 Broncos.
