Sharks lose 6-2.

The last two goals come in the last minute of the game.

Sharks lose 43.2 to -3.

In all reality, I'll be more happy with a full 60 minute effort than anything else.

But, if we actually manage a full 60 minute effort, we will win by 5+ goals.

If the Flames loose to the Sharks that means they won't make the playoff because the wings will easily beat the oilers and have a game in hand.

Sharks better win or else I'll be feeling like total crap heading into an interview on Saturday.

That being said, Flames 4-2.

Heatley, Setoguchi

God damn it, we have to go through this crap again?

If the Sharks will fail to get first place, then I hope they win tonight and the Wings can battle Phoenix/Chicago in round 1. If the Sharks are gonna make first place...I want a 3 point game.

Unfortunately neither of those things will happen, Sharks lose 4-2, Seto scores early in the 3rd, and Pavs scores late in the 3rd. The sharks put in a decent ~15 minute effort.

Also, I like the GDT bhs!

Come on everyone knows I have a ploy here to have the Sharks in 4th so they can face the Kings who will be in 5th. That way I can go to the playoff games down here in So Cal. heh.

Will King's playoff tickets be easy/cheap to get?

I know a guy who knows a guy. ha ha.

In reality So Cal Arenas have never been sold out. Easy to get yes. As far as cheap probably not.

I'm not going to even say I hope for a win.

I hope for:

1.) Sharks scoring the first goal of the game.

2.) Sharks actually be responsible in their own end and not continue to look like the worst Sharks defensive team since 02-03.

Refs

Meier #34, Joannette #25

Meier is senior. Meier is a poor skater, Joannette is an above average skater. Joannette is effortless and not fancy in skating with an excellent ability to read the play. Both are moderate callers. Joannette has good game control, Meier does not. A little score calling from Joannette, none from Meier. Both tend to swallow the whistle in the third, with Meier almost leading the league in swallowing. A little home advantage from Joannette, none from Meier. Joannette has a high safety rating, Meier is a little below average. Meier is average in calls generating 5on3's, Joannette will make a second call. Neither tends to even up calls for a game.

Review notes:
Joannette may be a moderate caller, but his games tend to be tight or loose, mainly loose. He is not authoritarian but will not take grief from the coach or players. Let's see how Sutter does, Sutter makes Keenan look pleasant.

Brad "Oscar" Meier #34

Marc "Dial-a-Level" Joannette #25
