The play-in game (UMD v. UND) is tonight and one of the HS tournaments is on 45. I don't know why FSN doesn't use the alternate/+ channel again like last week.

Yep. That's more disappointing than no Wellman in the lineup.

No other option but to listen to Bob and Tom on the radio. Music to my ears.

It's too bad WCCO does not sync up with FSN North.

So the Wild getting a good azz kickin - 0 to 4 at the halfway point. Good this one isn't on TV, as I would feel compelled to watch if it was.

Glad I didn't waste my time watching this one, what a sorry effort. I know that Nashville is good, but not even one goal and 17 shots? Come on we need a better effort than that...

That's really about all one can say about the game. It's times like these we should all thank god HF Wild has like four people and no one sat through this massacre.

Also, my condolences UMD Bob.

I sat through the Detroit massacre about a week ago, not sure why. I guess I can't give up on the Wild even though I know in my head they rattle off a couple of wins to keep themselves in the thick of the race. I guess I just want to see how the team performs when their back is to the wall.

I really do believe that we will be a playoff team next year, and we have 3 picks in the top 60 for this year's draft not to mention signing Wellman even though we haven't seen him, he probably has something good to come since 22 teams expressed interest.

It's hard to get much worse than we were this year, and I think that we will at least be a playoff team next year even though we still technically have a shot this year.

I watched the first 2, then saw Doobie in for the 3rd and I saw no point in watching. 3rd goal was a killer, Harding overplayed a shot that went wide and was too slow getting back over to stop Arnott's shot. Unacceptable goaltending, especially when you're down 2 in the last minute of the 1st period.

North Dakota is too big and physical for a team like UMD. I knew it was a bad matchup - though Reiter almost stole one for the Bulldogs. Disagree with the refs disallowing UMD's goal, but whatever... the more talented & imposing/deserving team won.

As for the Wild - if James Sheppard is playing in an untelevised hockey game... does he still fall?

I don't know - that sounds like a good discussion question.
