They were bound to lose one eventually I guess. Better to get a point out of it, it'll get handy for playoff positioning.

Ottawa and Philly both lost in regulation so the Habs gained some ground.

Pretty dissapointed.

Halak should of had that Kulemin shot in the shootout, but whatever. Every streak comes to an end. We're tied for 5th so can't say im mad or anything. Hoping for a better show next time.

Does Price get the start next game?

Could have been a big zero with that kind of performance. Just take the point and run...

Obligatory "at least we got a point" post. Especially since Philly and Ottawa got 0. But it hurts to let that extra point get away. We could be in 5th now. Oh well, maybe another time.

I don't know why people assume games against the Leafs are going to be easy. They rarely are. They could ice the worst lineup in the history of the league (sometimes they do ) and they always manage to take us to the limit. They were the better team tonight, hands down.

I like Gomez. But I seriously don't understand why Martin keeps putting him in the shootout. Seriously, what the ****?

And yeah, we probably didn't deserve a point. The "Monster.." was extremely shaky.

Only goal I'd blame Halak on is the Mitchell SO goal...but I don't really rag on goalies during the shootout.

Habs did not come to play, but honestly, they just can't win convincingly in Toronto. It is what it is. They got a point, I'll take it. They need to beat Ottawa on Tuesday, though. Huge game.

He's statistically one of the three best shootout scorers on the team. He absolutely should be there. Martin, OTOH, needs to never use Plekanec ever again.

A loss might be a good thing. It can put them back into reality...they aren't unbeatable. You can't coast to a win.

Meh I dont want boston to have that 2nd pick hopefully Toronto can move up in standings abit. Ottawa and Philly lost in Reg, so now its a 3 way tie for 5th. Bad showing today, hopefully they can turn it around.

Leafs playing with no pressure on them and playing fairly well...The Habs didn't deserve a point out of this game so I'm happy with the point..

The Habs though should be beating teams like the Leafs but as we all know the Habs never do anything the easy way..

Are you saying the Leafs got the better calls?

We had one penalty, they had six...we sucked.

Quite possibly Hammer's worst game as a Hab.

This.

Hammer looked like **** all game long.

Hopefully Cammy and MAB's return spark the PP.

Monday nights game is going to be crucial.

we're tied at 5th place, and this game's result was very predictable. NO big deal.

probably more important things to scout than the shootout.
