2 systems, same problem: the team can't score. At this point there's only one person mostly responsible for this; here's a hint he smokes cigars, likes eating sundaes at the draft table, his bff is Brian Burke, and he won a bunch of championships back in the 80s on some western Canadian team.

Henrik Lundqvist very down after #Rangers critical 2-1 loss to Bruins "it's miserable...it's no fun"
Someone needs to tell him to let more pucks in for the remainder of the season, if the team won't help him on the scoreboard then at least he can help the team another way.

I'd suggest a movie instead. Watch pretend action heroes or pretend monsters rather than pretend hockey players.

Jokinen has to be one of the dumbest players in the NHL.

Glad I missed it too. I don't know why I even get excited about Rangers hockey anymore.

Anybody have post-game reaction?? I'm curious to hear what Torts said, and also the players.

Exactly why I hate posting this type of question. Yeah I know we suck and I get it, we lost. That's not the point or the question. Did I ask "hey, is it worth watching or should I watch a movie in its place? The simple answer is this: No I didn't. I asked whether there was a replay.

So I'll ask it again; Is there a replay of this afternoons game, because my family would like to watch it.

I believe the NHL Network shows replays of the NBC game. Not sure at what time.

after today, the season is over. its really been over since the first week of march when they lost 4 in a row to pitts, wash, buf and nj which included to ot losses. that was the ball game right there.

this team, as ive been saying, isnt good enough to win games consistently.

i blame torts, i blame slats and i do blame the players.

someone needs to be fired for this failure. slats needs to be gone after this season.

failure to move joker and prospal was a monumental miscalculation and should cost him his job.

torts gets one more season but if the team starts slow after 25 games, fire him too.

lastly, waive redden, sell off rozy, and make drury full time 4th line centerman.

clear space and rebuild.

nothing less

3 points out of 14th!!!

LOL

I'm glad i didnt watch today. For the first time in my ENTIRE LIFE i didnt feel bad that i missed a game. MY wife was SHOCKED. I've been known to throw tantrums and break holes in the walls in the past if my DVR didnt work or the cable was out. Today, i had a party to go to, and I went and didnt care one bit. Because I gave up on this team a long time ago. And thats sad. I still will follow the team, and Ill watch the next game. But I've put too much heart and soul and money into this team the past 21 years of my life to be put through the ringer one more time. I just bought a house and there were a million other things going on in my head today.

This is not good. It isnt a good thing for such a diehard ranger fan like myself to be experiencing this, let alone ADMIT to it. I would have NEVER thought i'd hear myself say these words i really dont. And dont give me this crap that im not a "true fan". I'll be back, i just needed a day off. I've seen this day, i've seen in many times. Its like a bad twilight light zone rerun marathon that never ends. I've been tortured enough. Its time for the Rangers to step up and give back to the fan. Give the fans some good hockey for christ sake. Its supposed to take your mind off the frustrating parts of life, not add to it.

Still wish they would have sold. Wouldnt it have been a nice piece of mind to know you have a couple more second rounders going into the draft after all this ******** today? We don't even have that. Just the possibility of a top 1st round pick. But i guarantee you, the last few games of the season, when the pressures off - the Rangers will win 3 or 4 in a row to take us right out of that picture again. You can almost BANK ON IT.

NHLNet will in fact reair the game. Tomorrow at 2pm EST.

So... Fourth Rangers/Bruins game I went to in the last four years, and for the first time, it doesn't end 1-0. (Sorry, I was afraid that I was going to be a jinx by going.)

Enjoyed all of that physicality. Both teams were really laying hits around.

I like to take the positives out of any kind of game (I hate being a Negative Nancy), but I truly think that all of that physical stuff was the only positive. Or one of the few.

Even if they lost, I came out of there thinking that it was a good game.

Rest them for next year or whenever they're 100% healthy enough to play. Let's see Locke, Byers, Weisse, or Grachev on the big club to take their place.

The season ended the minute that **** Carcillo punched our "Superstar" in the face about 40 times and Girardi stood there with his hands on his ****.

The season ended for me when said soft d-man remained with the team after the trade deadline. That doesn't have much to do with where the team may or may not have gone going forward, but for me that was disappointing.

Oh and Wade Redden being tied for second on the team in plus minus is a pretty funny stat too.
