Is this from the shot he blocked last night? I think it was in the second period. He was visibly slowed going to get the puck along the boards.

Matsumoto finally gets his chance? Probablly not. I bet Giroux goes back to center and someone like Nodl gets called up.

ugh.
I am calling it right now btw, if we miss the playoffs the Ducks will have one of the top 2 picks with our pick.

: laugh::l augh:

This is just too rich! A few days ago, I was thinking that the goaltenders were dropping like flies, but at least the star skaters were healthy.

Maybe that should be a new hockey cliché : Dropping like Flyers.

Put Briere at center and if does not perform (as in being lazy) bag skate him and Hartnell until both waive NTC or NMC.

Boston lost Savard and still wins hockey games.

Do not give up!

I agree. You can't really help laughing at the whole season.

To paraphrase the Flyers' illustrious leader... what else can you do?

I'm okay with throwing Briere back in the middle.

Gagne - Richards - Maroon
vanRiemsdyk - Giroux - Testwuide
Hartnell - Briere - Leino
Carcillo - Betts - Laperriere
Asham - Powe

Yea, it was either in the first or third if i remember correctly. Think it was in the third. He went down just to Boucher's left (our right), then got up and chased the guy with the puck. When it happened, I cringed, then I was like "nah, the adrenaline will take care of that."

Putting Briere at C isn't a bad idea, but I would suspect we'll see the Giroux-Briere connection put back together with Giroux in the middle.
