So...who's got that feeling?

You know, even throughout every peice of **** hitting the fan i still have that strange little feeling. The feeling that we have hit that point in the season which makes or breaks us. Is it possible you think that we are still going all the way.

I have that strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. Every team that wins the cup always has a story. Why not ours. Hell, we have no true no1 goaltender through freak injuries, we have lost our star scoring forward, Our rookies seem to have hit the wall, our entire team can't score for ****, and hartnell has been roughly as good as kyle Calder this season.

Is there much else left to go wrong? I mean it's not like this team can suck it anymore. Back to back loses against the thrashers, 40+ shots on goal without reward, a goaltender that likes letting the puck go behind him.

Yet i still think the cup is ours this year. Lets face it, when was the last time you ever saw the flyers do something easy. The flyers seem to pick up their game when they are told that they have no chance. Maybe now it's the time. What do you guys think

*no i'm not functionally retarded*

oh and leave out the homer abuse, why this team is ****ed ect, no draft picks oh god noooos.

Sorry, I don't.

The feeling I have is, I'm going to be watching another team with the cup and not my team.

We're boring, we have no goalie, very little goalscoring threat without Carter, most of our forwards are out of form and our D is carried by Pronger. This team rarely surprises us, and i just can't see us bringing the effort to go to 5 games with anyone, let alone beat them.

We've got no first round pick and an empty prospects cupboard with loads of money tied up in players who aren't worth it.

There's no feeling here except one of dread for the future.

Chicago fired their GM last summer due to bad cap management. Can we be next?

I'm pretty sure Edmonton fans felt the same way a few years back.

face it, the best game of the year for the flyers might have already been played (beating the blackhawks)... this team is going nowhere in the playoffs and there's a slim chance we may not make it...

the flyers and eagles should share the same motto: there's always next year

I see what you're trying to do and I agree that a more positive attitude would be nice around here. So many people around here are so overly pessimistic and defeatist that it's hard to read this board anymore for me.

I haven't felt this pessimistic since the season that shall not be named and I'm generally a pretty optimistic person. This injury to Carter has really deflated me. The goalies were bad enough but you figure the scorers can score and make up for it, then the top scorer is done for a month.

Same. I really can't see anything good coming out of this season, at this point my goal is to not get beat by Pittsburgh again.

I'd rather not make the playoffs than have that happen again.

Fighting for Flyers wherever there's trouble,
Darroll Powe is there!

Darroll Powe is the codename for Philadelphia's daring, highly trained
special mission force.
Hiss purpose, to defend human freedom against Bettman and Crosby-
a ruthless, terrorist organization determined to rule the world.

I really hope we don't even make the playoffs at this point. I have two reasons for this.

1. So we don't have to lose to the ****ing Penguins again. Not making the playoffs would sit easier with me.

2. So the higher up's realize this team is an inconsistent/gutless group and needs to be broken up.

FIRE SALE? WHO'S WITH ME??!?!

I don't have 'that feeling' but I'm not ready to kick this team to the curb like so many others...geeze, have a little faith.

Step 1: Make the playoffs.

Step 2: Stock the fridge with beer.

Step 3: Take it one game at a time.

Go Flyers Go!!!
