10 games to go, only 4 points behind Tampa, Carolina and the Isles, and all of them have been struggling of late. If we win on Tuesday (in Reg time), we're:
2 back of the Isles (they'd have a game in hand)
2/3 back of the loser of Tampa/Carolina
3 back of Florida (Panters have game in hand still)
4 back of the winner of Tampa/Carolina
Even if we go to OT, the other game HAS to be decided in regulation for it to have any real meaning.
If everything goes our way, we could be tied with all 3 teams directly above us after Saturday vs the Rangers

Most important game of the year.
We have to win this one!!!
It would be absolutely amazing if we could pick up at least 12 points over the last 10 games.
vsFla; @Atl; vsNYR; @Pit; vsAtl; vsBuf; vsBos; vsPit; @NYR; @Mtl
Only games I'm nervous about are @Pit and the two vsBos and @Mtl. The others we can win if they keep it up.

My numbers say Leafs are currently on pace to come in 9th or 10th depending on Boston, Buffalo, and New Jersey taking care of business.

A quatlift equation with 4 variables (Tor, Bos, Buf, NJ) and 11 outliers (the rest of the East). Just run it through a digicode program or something and provided the Leafs keep current pace that is the outcome.

We always have a hard time against Florida, especially in the last year or so.
We also seem to play poorly after winning 2 or 3 in a row.
Giguere will need to play like he did against the New Jersey. Good and consistent goaltending.

Well, the leafs have trashed our hopes when it comes to draft picks the last couple of seasons.
I think it's time for them to do the same to Boston fans.

May I inquire as to the current pace you mention? Season? Last half of games? Last ten games?
It just seems like quite a high prediction to me
