Cleary's back No Eaves though

http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index...._the_line.html And Babs kept Bert where he is. Good! Cleary has been a bit of a disappointment as of late.

Also I though this was funny about Lebda.

Quote:
Brett Lebda is a healthy scratch. He dressed the last two games as the seventh defenseman but did not get any ice time.

Lebda said he was a little surprised he didn't get any shifts, but added, "That's the game we played. We got two points in both of them, so I can't really say much about it.
I guess he's not as much of a high priority anymore. Play your way to the door please.

I like the idea of not putting Cleary back with Hank and Flip. It would be nice to get a true second line established. Cleary just hasn't produced enough to warrant playing on a scoring line. I think he can work well in more of a checking/defensive role until he gets his scoring touch back.

I love keeping Bert where he is. He's been fantastic on that line. Cleary needs to pay his dues before he's re-elevated to the second line.

At this point Eaves has been a much more productive and valuable player that Cleary. Never thought I'd be saying that at the beginning of this season.

I guess I should be happy with anything. But Eaves has been so much more useful for us (PK, energy and great understanding with Helm and Draper). Cleary needs to step the **** up, he hasn't done anything lately and for his cap hit we should be expecting at least some points and nice plays.

Well, I'm glad atleast one of the two are back, but I'm gonna miss Eaves, especially on the PK, the guy is a shot blocking machine.
