Los Angeles Kings @ Colorado Avalanche 03/24/10

Kings battle back against odds and lose in the SO.

Grats to Kopitar for a new career high in goals with 33!

And congrats to Ersberg for playing a very solid game in relief of Quick on short notice.

Jack Johnson is a terrible hockey player...

Dustin Brown chooses to be a terrible hockey player...

I'm very excited to see Richardson in the playoffs...

Solid solid game...

What a disaster for the Flames, both teams end up with 3 of a possible 4 pts from this home and home, and the Wings win.

I really don't see anyone falling out of the Top 8, it just comes down to seeding now.

Good job Ersberg, you gave us stability in net when we needed it.

Richardson is so awesome.

Good result for us since Quick is pretty rested for tomorrow and we got a point in a game that Ersberg played most of

jack johnson is a terrible d man. he should seriously be moved to LW. he would be a great forward.

the refs can notch another victory in their belts tonight, great comeback by the kings though, i knew they'd tie it up.

Ersberg played great in relief, would have rather seen quick back out there in the shootout though

Tough game to watch. The Kings got hosed by the refs in the first, but the Kings played great in the third. Tough to lose in a shootout, but not unexpected.

Time to destroy the Blues tomorrow. Kings still .500 since the olympics.

LOL how is Jack Johnson a horrible hockey player? Man, I hate it when people look down on the kid, he's actually becoming a better player in front of our eyes.

Now, as for the game.

I'm very pleased with their effort, clearly we're the better team and we outplayed them, the refs probably didn't like the penalty they gave colorado in OT during Monday's game and thought that they would give LA 857478 penalties in the first period.

TM, why you using Ryan Smyth as your third shooter? OK, he's been playing well, but you have a bunch of other options? Brown? Handzus? Frolov (who played very well), Richardson? Modin? I mean, any of those guys are more skilled than Smyth.

Good point, now let's get 2 in St. Louis tomorrow, that's the most important thing

I think their ship sunk anyways. Just as big of a disappointment as the Flyers will be.

And if shootouts didn't exist, and it the OT kept going, Kings would've gotten 2 points, we were all over them in overtime

Didn't Toronto try that last season? I think it failed miserably

You're going to complain about Smyth who cleanly beat Anderson but just got unlucky? Seriously?

Another downside of not having a bigtime sniper.

Kopitar and Johnson have been huge in the shootout all year, the problem is we don't have a go to third guy. We have a lot of guys who score ugly goals but not the breakway type.

I would have liked to have seen Simmonds or Handzus, but Smyth played great today.
