Campbell with fractured bone

http://panthers.nhl.com/club/news.ht...id=DL|FLA|home

http://miamiherald.typepad.com/flapa...and-ready.html

And DeBoer being a dick... “It has been a long year for Tomas and we have asked him to do a lot every night and he has responded quite well for us," said head coach Peter Deboer.

QUITE WELL???? GIVE ME A BREAK

EDIT: Overreacting by me as always... haha sorry

Sad. No Soup. And I still think Deboer has just found a good way of getting under Vokoun's skin.

Never knew "quite well" was such an insult.

Yea, jeez. Overreact much?

“It has been a long year for Tomas and we have asked him to do a lot every night and he has responded like a god for us," said head coach Peter Deboer. "So well that I have given up my salary for next year and will choose to give him his new name 'Sir Tomas Vokoun' which can only be spoken while on your knees bowing down to him. We are all in debt to him and have decided to rename section 103 after him".

Would that satisfy you?

That's more like it. Thank you.

It's rather funny that the topic of the thread is Campbell's bone fracture, yet (almost) no one has commented on that. Appropriately, nobody really gives a **** about Campbell's broken bone.

Which got me to thinking about our other injuries. Why didn't Seidenberg shoot the puck at Olesz? Why didn't Richards take out Reinprecht? Why didn't Vokoun swing at Ballard? Everything could have been so perfect then.

then maybe we would be 7 points ahead of boston getting ready to blow 8 of the next 10.

I think 10 years of not making the playoffs, have taken our fandom and cruelly twisted it into an extremely dark sense of humor.

I just spit iced tea all over my keyboard here at work after reading that, but it was damn well worth the laughter. I love the humorous and behind the scenes woeful mindset of us all after missing the playoffs for so long.

What are chances that Campbell has played his last game as Panther?

You mean team will give him a qualifying offer or they release him and then sign him with lower price?

I agree they probably re-sign him and I think qualifying offer. It would be a bit insulting to let him go and then sign him after July 1. He's not Eminger, situation's a bit different IMO.
