Why? We should have a pretty good idea of what awful is

And I'm legitimately trying to evaluate whether my perception is off about fanbases. It's ultimatley no big deal but it's interesting to think about

If you can't be civil, stay out of their GDT. Same goes for Devils fans coming into ours.

Alright then, tell me that first instead of the response you gave me. And like I said, Dagoon had talked about the fights... I responded to his post - it had relevance there.

The combination of Peters and Pandolfo playing, and Leblond and Pelley sitting was a big deal for Devil fans. I personally like Pelley against your team, and think Pando is a step down. And I despise everything Peters-related

I'm sure Dagoon cares, but you referred to "this board" which encompasses more than Dagoon. if I came off as a dick getting that point across, sorry.

I am actually stuck in Vegas right now for work and the Devils are heavily favored to win this game. I hope the Rangers do me proud so I can win some cab fare to the airport. A win tonight and we are only 3 points behind Boston. I don't care what anyone says; if the Rangers win as many games as they can down the stretch, there is always the possibility of us squeaking in on the last day of the regular season. I remember just a few years back the Isles came out of nowhere towards the end of the season and made the playoffs at the very end of the season. Plus Boston is missing arguably their best offensive player in Savard so it's not like they are a lock. I think if the Rangers just play loose like they did last night then maybe they will be better down the stretch. Also if Gabby can get to maybe 45 goals that would be another reason to cheer for the rest of the season, playoffs or not. Go Rangers!

Everyone knock off the pissing match. If people can't be civil, they will get points and/or be removed from this thread. That goes for Ranger and Devil fans.

Gotta disagree. Very good player. Real American hero? I'll save that for something that really matters.

One of the great things with the Olympics was that fans got to appreciate enemy team's players. Devils fans all loved Callahan.
I am all for NHL taking a break for Olympics in the future.

LET'S GO RANGERS!!
You're kidding right? Before yesterday the Rangers were 3 points out of the #3 overall pick. Lose yesterday and it would have been 2.

Nah. I knew it would come across that way but the opposite is true. I don't take it seriously at all. That's why hero seems too strong. It's entertainment, pure and simple.
