Like this... was this after the game or today? Not that it matters. The refs sucked but we still had an opportunity to win the game.
I heard the WIP interview with Carcillo post-game (Tuesday) and don't recall those words. More than likely, these quotes are from today (Wednesday).

there is the video. stop and pause it a couple of times at around 38-40 seconds. You can clearly see the puck behind the line. white between the puck and redline.
It is just before JVR crosses the side of the net.
I know its just beating a deadhorse and its over and done with. Just wanted to point it out.

Here is an interesting take from Les Bowen:

My take is the Flyers don't have the goaltending to do much in the playoffs, and the players know it, which affects everything else.

He said this on Sunday

Sooo basically the Flyers have already packed it in. I guess a 1st round exit (if were lucky) is good enough for them...

Bunch of ****s.

How hard would you bust your ass at your job if you felt you knew the other shoe was dropping? Do you have enough pride to do the job the way it's supposed to be done?

Probably not, and it's not like one would be proud about that.

It's as spineless of a team as we've seen in recent memory, it's not like anything short of that would be a shock.

yup I agree GKJ. We are going to see if this team does have any pride, guts and desperation with the playoffs on the line.
This team misses the playoffs I would hope that everyone and everything is re-evaluated by Snider. This team misses the playoffs no ones job should be safe.
But what will probably happen is, Snider will fall back on that old injury and bad luck excuse and nothing will happen. This is Philadelphia. Where they do things their own way.

I agree. I love the Flyers and everything, but I dont love most our players.

Their apathy on the ice sometimes can be so apparent, that it can translate to us, the fans. Perhaps we were spoiled in '04, when we saw the arguably the gutsiest team with the biggest heart play.

Either way, It's depressing and frustrating as ****.

Our PP sucks , I'm sure if this was the NFL we'd reject penalties most of the time.

Is it just me or have the Bruins and Flyers had the exact same season take place at different times (different streaks)?

Hell, all you need to do is cut and paste almost any GDT from a Bruins game in Jan-March and you could use it to express either fanbases feelings about their team.

Cheers

that 04 team was one of my favorite teams of recent memory. They left it all out on the ice.
