Play the past couple shifts too much in our end...gotta get pucks deep in transition and establish a forecheck...

Insult to injury for Jovo. Waiting for a whistle for an injury and he gets it from the puck hitting him while he's down. He deserved that though, he got a one handed slash and went down like someone shot him.

Yotes are a mess on defense. They look tired, they're just dragging around

Seth, I've only caught moments of the game but did see that I got my wish of Wilson-Legwand-Erat (at least once anyway).

How do they look together?

3-1 end 2...Coyotes have 20 seconds of PP time carrying over into the third...

Much better period...spent a lot of time in the Phoenix end of the ice. Good chances both off the rush and especially off the cycle. Using the defensemen well on offense and they're doing a good job of making sure the shots get through and on net...

Need to stay disciplined and also get the next goal before we start to breathe easier. I've seen the Coyotes explode too many times in the third period this season to feel comfortable...a full 60 minute effort is required!!!

That was pathetic...too fancy...too many guys looking for a highlight reel goal...not enough of a "grip it and rip it" mentality...

New PP units forgot to shoot.. I know the coyotes are good at clogging lanes, but not that good. I'm liking what I've seen from 33-11-10 tonight and Cal looks good with Dumont. Tootoo on that line with Smithson and Boyd look great because they seem to remember how to hit people, something missing all year. Lets keep the energy going, Coyotes look tired when we're skating.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Calgary lost

Very good. Legwand and Erat look to be excited to be working together and Erat and Wilson have existing chemistry as well. Lots of speed through the neutral zone and a strong group of guys to work the cycle and generate secondary opportunities as well.

I was very happy to see Trotz put that line together in the second period. Legwand generating some offense, but really needs to cash in to get more of a look in an offensive role...this is his opportunity!!!

Meant to post that earlier...need to take advantage and open up a little more room between us and 9th...

20 strong needed...no passengers this period...if you want to look out the windows, stay on the bench...

That's what I was hoping to hear. Is Trotz still matching the Legwand line against the top line? The one time I saw them on the ice, Weber and Suter was the blueline pair.

Thanks!

No, noticed that line against Fiddler more often than not in the second...

Keep it up boys! Why do I feel like we're going to fall apart at the end?
