Big win for the New York Lundqvists today. 5th straight 30 win season! Does this come from behind win going into the stretch (with a relatively easy schedule) give us what we need to make the playoffs and not get embarrassed by Washington?

No.
We tend to relapse into failure after emotional wins like this anyway.

-Henrik was outstanding. So many of his saves were on high quality shots because our defense is a train wreck.

-Redden is an abomination.

-Where was this gutsy play all year?

-I don't know if Eric Christensen saw Drury there or if he was just trying to get it to the front of the net but that was an incredible pass.

-Dubinsky was a puck possession animal all game long.

Hopefully someone YT's the Devils feed of Christensen's shootout goal.

Chico Resch saying "that's not in! Erik, you should know it has to be fully over to count. That wasn't... oh my apologies" was idiotic/funny as ****. What a loser.

And then he did it again on Anisimov's shot. "Oh what a save by Marty! He reaches back and... oh did that hit the post? Well I'm giving it to Marty anyway."

This guy is dumb as a rock and the worst homer. Makes Micheletti look like Einstein.

So true, At least Jack Edwards is entertaining through his homerism

He's the only player doing anything for this team. The Rangers have no excuse to be in the position they're in.

Long way to go yet. A win Saturday and Philly and/or Boston losses will put us back in the race, but we could just as easily lose and they both win.

Still, I think the schedule is in our favor.

Flyers next 2 are against Pitt and NJ (back to back games Sat and Sun)
Bruins next 3 are against Cal, Buf and NJ (3 in 4 nights Sat, Mon, Tues)
Rangers next 2 are against Tor and NYI (Sat and Tues)

Flyers could easily lose both games and the Bruins could lose 2 of 3. But we have to win both games, no matter what.

Funniest play was on Parise disallowed goal, both Del Zotto and Gilroy slid to ice right in front of the net. I could only imagine what Hank is thinking. If the rangers can build a solid defensive unit they will be a dangerous team every year in the playoffs because of how good Hank is.

Dubinsky had a strong game. He played almost 27 minutes in a back to back game. I like Prust he is perfect 4th line player hope Sather resigns him. Anisimov has looked really comfortable playing on the 4th line.

I was on the tank train for all of 3 days. Don't hate me for saying this but we are back in it. 5 points behind philly and they have a really tough schedule and no goalie, not to mention we play them back to back games to end our season.

I was at this game. My spirits have been fully rejuvenated. Playoff push baby! In the first period we played like garbage but a whole nother team came out for the second and third periods. Lundqvist saved our behinds so many times... it was so scary watching our defense consistently give him up. Thank God we have the best goalie in the game.

The highlights on NHL.com use the Devils feed. There's a YT of it up as well, so you can go re-listen.
