It's a shame though. Like tonight was a prime example. Same situation. Fla coach tried to pull the same crap with the early pull. But the team somehow scores 2 empty netter instead of allowing the tying goal.

Saw Price skating and congratulate Halak and I feel bad for the kid. Cuz 24 hours earlier he was in the same situation, had to work even harder with 40+ saves and his team did absolute jack.

I feel bad for Carey tho, he deserves to start next game but he won't.
It's hard to get deked like a peewee when you back till your butt hits your goalie's face.

Gorges is a fine 3rd pairing guy. He's a mediocre 4th d-man.

It is kind of a good thing we lost to Ottawa. I don't know if I want to be 5th and risk playing the Pens or Devils. But I guess we will see where we match up with the Devils on Saturday.

Yeah we needed that one ! And Gionta as a 38 goal pace on a 82 games season even if that don't work that way this is still impressive.

OT: French pronounciation question (Jorrrraakk)

Every Habs/Panthers game, I hear Dvorak pronounced as Jorrak. Does DV make a J sound in french or something?

As soon as I can get an answer, feel free to close the thread.

Nope, just Benoit and Pierre can't pronounce names. Vorjack ? You ****ed in the head, or something ?.
That's actually how it's supposed to be pronounced.
A great composer had that name.

RDS says Markov needs a better partner than O'byrne, I agree.

RDS says that man is MAB

Yes. You should watch them on Sportsdesk when you have a chance. Roof daddy. Five-hole. Where your mom hides the cookies. Wrap-around. Totally awesome. Cheese = sniped.

Buffalo outshoots Montréal 42-28 and Montréal gets a point against the best team in the Northeast division. Montréal outshoots Florida, 31-24. Montréal wins, which at one point looked to be turning out the same, and Halak is suddenly superior ?

Nah, nah. This team doesn't play the same in front of Halak as they do in front of Price, which is ********. Though, almost none of you are willing to admit it. Though, no worries. I told a buddy of mine this would happen. Halak would win, and everyone will think he is >>>>>>> Price.

I think the "DV" is Djv
But it's pronounced like dVj
And turns into
Vorjack

Back-to-back games and Metro is an old guy. That's apparently the reason.

Halak played a solid game tonight.

Believe it or not the Panthers believe they have a chance to make the playoffs. With a win tonight they would've been 5 back of a struggling Boston squad. They played playoff hockey tonight and we still beat them. They have great goaltending, but no offense. So, you're right about Florida being horrible offensively. They only scored one goal on us. What more do you want?

A lot of really good teams are getting beat by 9-15 seeds right now. Thankfully we didn't.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was an ignore button for all the Price vs. Halak messages in every thread?
I think I would read/post here a lot more. Then again most PGTs would only be a page or two long if that was the case.

Someone on RDS last night said that Spacek should stay home and we should play MAB on the point. He should be in the lineup cause he is a great pp specialist but I don't want MAB playing defence.Don't really listen to what they have to say on that show

Gainey surely dodged a bullet when Kovy didn't get back to him in time and the Kovy money was offered to Gionta instead... Gionta is a warrior and a winner...

Bof, they got caught by like 10-15 seconds. Ruff pulled Miller early, the next change would have been the last min go to guys. Not really a Martin braincramp. Just a really really good Ruff move.

You guys need to understand confidence. The team has it with Halak and they don't with Price. Why can't you understand that?
