Going to the game Saturday night with a friend who's celebrating her birthday over the weekend. Would love to get a greeting on the Jumbotron for her ... can't seem to find any info on the 'Canes official board for that. Can anybody help me? Thanks ...

Look under "Jumbotron Message" and it gives you the number to call.

Okay ... checked it out. $30 for a name flashed on the Jumbotron? I don't think so! Others may disagree, but I think that's a rip-off, after what we pay for tickets to NHL games ...

It's the same here in Albany, there's a fee unless you're a STH - which I am, so it was something of a surprise for the wifey when the happy anniversary message popped up last week

I'm sure one reason they charge is to keep people from bombarding them with crap messages on the jumbotron. $30 doesn't seem like a big deal to me for someone to perform a personalized service for you. And you can always get a season ticket holder to call in and have it done for you for free if you don't want to pay. *shrug*
