Yeah, that was comedy gold right there. He was making fun of Christensen for claiming it went in ("you did everything but blah blah", and then looked like an idiot when they showed the overhead
Note watching Rangers in 60; the Drury goal never happens if Brodeur has his stick where it should be.
Although, to me it looked like if the puck went through Drury, Gaborik might have scored anyway. On the replay, he was cruising right down the slot uncovered as Drury redirected the puck...
You know, as I sat there last night, I finally concluded that I could not go the "tank" route last night. Not against these obnoxious ******* fans. I tried, but when Drury scored I went nuts as if he had tied a playoff game. On my way out a Devil fan and I were discussing how great a game it was and how it was another classic. This 60 year old guy in front of me gets in my face and starts crap with me "10th place Rangers suck" so by this point I was fed up with all the crap I had to endure all game and stayed silent. But now I let this guy have it because you know what, that's being a sore loser. When the Rangers beat the Devils I don't go carrying on rubbing it in, and this gentlemen especially being older should know better and I told him that and he said oh this coming from a Ranger fan. Stupid white trash idiot.
This is kinda off topic from the game but will get you all to laugh; my friend who works in the arena was walking by in the suite level and saw Sather smoking a cigar, a big no no in Jersey lol.

Slats obeying the law? Hah, that's about as unlikely as him playing by someone else's rules besides his own, which he would never do. He plays by his own rules, nobody else's, not even his own.

Good, as he should be. I think dating back to the St. Louis game he has stopped 7 or 8 consecutive breakaways/penalty shots. That is, unless I'm forgetting something. Some of these games could have been so much worse than they were
I still can't believe how many oddman rushes and breakaways they gave the Devils last night. It was like a constant PP for the Devils. That stood out most of the game.
That said, Prust, Shelley and Anisimov had a really good game. Anisimov plays very well with those two creating havok on his wings. And that goal was just so nice.
Christensen... seems most still don't really know what to make of him. When he is on his game and confident, he looks great. If he wasn't a waiver pickup, he would have much higher value in peoples eyes (although he sure is winning fans over).
And I must say, people really have to lay off on Rosi. This guy is a workhorse on the blue-line.
