I couldn't find the info so I guess the answer is no

Did Duncan Keith ever make team Canada for the WJC U20?

Good thing Hossa doesn't make 7.9 at all.

Also how are we getting around the tagging thing exactly? I read the thing on the general board and was confused.

Now I'm not the best with math, but they have 42.5 million committed next season. With these deals they will have 60.6 committed with only 15 skaters signed. On top of that they have players that are going to hit their incentives this year that will push them over this years cap adding it on to next years cap.

WTF? Are they going to buy out campbell tomorrow??

None of our players are going to hit their "B" bonuses.

Regardless they are still 3-4 million over the cap that needs to come off by the time these deals are signed.

Who are they going to drop? Any rumors floating around?

We should find out tomorrow. Waive or trades would likely be announced as well.

Great signings!!

I can't stand The Blackhawks, but I do love seeing Original Six teams doing well. It's good for The League.

Shawn Lalonde has been signed. Three-year deal w/ a cap hit of just under $600,000/season.

what do hawk fans think management is going to do as far as having 60 tied up and only 15 players signed for next year?

I'll go out on a limb and say that they'll probably trade some guys and let some RFA and UFA walk. Probably.

He is 20

Spending rest of year in ECHL aint gonna kill him.

He will get consistant top 6 minutes there. I didn't think he was doing too poorly in Rockford for a 1st year guy.

Just saw that on Transactions and came over to see if anyone had any comments on it.

I think BWC makes a great point here, as in Rockford, it seems like he's been playing 3rd line minutes of late after coming back from the wrist injury he had around December.

Just had the chance to watch Aliu play for us the last couple games here in Toledo.
He's made enough of an impression that I had to come here and search for info.
Scored 2 goals his first night, that always helps. But beyond that, the guy has a great sense
for creating plays. Too much in the echl guys just skate to the blue line and dump it around
the boards, or they skate it in and are unable to get a pass through.

Aliu decided to start skating the puck up to the circle, enough that the D had to commit to him.
Then he throws it around the boards to a wide open side of ice and we get a good shot out of it.
We are quite happy to have him here in Toledo for the time being.

Good to see he's playing well there. I'm not sure why he didn't stick in Rockford. At least he's getting top minutes.

Anyone else think that Chicago should look into adding a top Notch 2nd Line C?

I love Bolland but I think we need another Big C that can produce points and play with Hossa. Bolland with a strong Playoff run can change my mind but he is an average 2nd Line C imo.

If the Carter rumors are true (High on Giroux), and they realize he wants big money in another year I would trade Bolland and Steeg for him. Or if Boston Wants to trade a C, I would be interested in any of them.

Probably should have started a new thread as this thread is more for our prospects/roster players , etc

Getting Carter makes our cap situation worse and I am fine with Bolland as Carter's D isn't up to par
