Flyers tend to make opposing goalie's debut look like they're Vezina candidates, could it work other way round too? Please?

Go Flyers!!

For as bad as our season has been, the Pens only have 5 more wins then we do. I bet you can find about 10 games that we squandered. We win half of those and we are sitting pretty.

Way to be the optimist, Zol. I'll be playing in a dek tourney in Feasterville today so hopefully I'll get to catch the game.

Obviously a win is all I care about.

Win.

Win.

Win.

I'm curious to see what happens with Backlund. If he lets in 3 softies but we win is the new starter? What is he lets in 4 but we hung him out to dry? I hope he gets it done somehow.

This could be really great or really bad. I don't see much of a middle ground here.

LET'S GO FLYERS!! Play like you can - and make the world's NHL fans happy and beat the Pens.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind giving you guys tomorrow as long as we can just house the Pens today.

I'd rather see the Devils with the division crown than the Pens.

Fearless prediction: Flyers come out and score 2-3, while keeping the Penguins off the sheet. Penguins tie it in the second, and the wheels fall off in the third. Final score: Pitt 7-Flyers 4.

No, I'm not optimistic. Playing Backlund is like putting your little brother in nets in street hockey when nobody else wants to play goal.

Oh yeah, and one of Briere, Gagne or Timonen will leave the game early with an injury. I'm just Mr. Sunshine today.

i hope briere and timonen don't go down given briere's track record in the playoffs and pronger can't possibly play 60 minutes.

go flyers?

But dude...Boucher.

Both the Flyers and Pens are crippled. Malkin, Carter, Gonchar, and Carle are out. And an AHL guy is our goalie. One team has to out cripple the other.

if the pens score first and early(within the first 5 minutes). This team will fold like a tent.
