On the bad end of a intentional knee to knee hit by Wideman.

Wideman went knee to knee on him.

I think it is... I've been watching just about every game since the Olympics ended and he has looked different. Much more dangerous and aggressive

Based on Artuhkin's suspension on a questionable knee, this one is a no brainer suspension. I wouldn't be to surprised if it wasn't as this league is hardly known for it's consistancy and that stems from the top down.

Typical Lightning...get your self to the point where it would take an act of God to make the postseason, then go on a winning streak to kill your draft position. As nice as it is to win games, winning at this point is just flat out bad for this team long term.

If we were just squeaking out wins I'd agree. But I'd rather this team learn to win now, we don't need another top end player for the future, we are better off taking a top 10 pick getting a supporting player that we can develop over time.

Defenseman Kurtis Foster (upper body) left after the second period and defenseman David Hale (lower body) in the first.

"They all might not play," Tocchet said of Saturday's game in Buffalo. "We're going to have to get on the phone and figure out where to get some fresh bodies. Don't ask me where."

AHL Norfolk, most likely, though that would hurt the Admirals, who are in a heated playoff chase of their own.
If Foster and Hale are still hurt by Saturday, you could use Smaby, but if Ohlund isn't ready to return it will be interesting to see who they call up. The choice would be between Wishart, Mihalik, Jackson, and Lashoff.

It also calls for the current group here to step it up like they did tonight. Meszaros and Lundin both played over 26 minutes.

Clearly, this team can't even lose right.

I'd rather they win and finish in a better position. At least they can say they've improved over the last 2 years.

All in all... I thought that was a really fun game to watch last night. One of the more entertaining games I've seen lately.

I'd rather have them win myself because there's just no guarantee that any early 1st round pick is going to be another Stammer. Rather be in position to get Nino Niederreiter....
