I had to be on the road for the end of the game and listened to Mike Maniscalco for the first time tonight. That is one blustery dude. I realize that a job in the radio business doesn't exactly favor the succinct, but man, he had pretty much one thing to say and just kept repeating it over and over. And I don't know if it's like this after every game, but on this particular night it was like his entire thesis, the only talking point he could muster, was "I don't know how to explain this loss". Well isn't that, like... your job?
i for one am pleased with the effort tonight. id really like to thank TO for making this interesting. i think its 5 more pts for boston to officially close us out, which would be nice so management can get on board with the game plan.
pothier with the first dman breakaway ive seen in a while. not a bad move. shoulda pulled a timmah and went with the slapper from 50 ft.

Yeah, short of one popping out of the penalty box for a cherry-picking breakaway, I don't know that I've ever seen that happen. That and pulling the goalie down 3 were firsts, as far as I can remember.
