Harding - I think he's just as good as Backstrom, personally. My only concern is his ability to stay healthy and in the crease for 65-70 games.
Cuma - Cuma got a raw deal with his knee injury, this guy is a Nick Schultz clone with a moderate amount of offensive upside. Scandella's good, but I think Cuma is more of a sure bet, so I'll go Cuma.
Ryan - I think Hemsky is probably the better player, but this team has enough playmakers in Koivu, Havlat, Bouchard, Brunette, etc. Placing Bobby Ryan on the top line with Koivu would be absolutely insanely awesome. Plus, Bobby Ryan has some absolutely filthy dangles. So does Hemsky, but man, Ryan is slick.
Depends on what kind of fish. Salmon, I'd go salmon, but if we are talking cod, then I'd go chicken.
North Stars logo no doubt about it.
Who do we miss more, Brian Rolston or Pierre-Marc Bouchard?
Harding- Cheaper (get more offense) and more athletic/reflexes to make that game-changing save. I still believe he will be a good goaltender once he gets the workload. He has never disappointed at any other level.
Scandella-I have only seen Cuma at our prospect camp and a few times online. I saw Scandella at the same camp, as well as the WJC. I think Scandella has more potential to be a top shut-down defenseman with a good first pass whereas everyone believes Cuma is a safe bet to be a NHLer...just depends if thats 2-4 or 5-6.
Ryan

Chicken
Neither =P
Pamela Anderson, Jenny McCarthy or Carmen Electra?
Extend Mittens for 4 years $12 million or make out with Rosanne Bahr?
That isn't fair at all, but I would take Mittens (glad everyone is starting to call him that now! ) for 4 more years of futility than ever go next to that cow.

- Goalies...draw. I'd rather have them both. No pressing need to trade Harding.
- Scandella and Cuma should fill a similar role, but Scandella's further along in development. That knee injury really f'd Cuma.
- Bobby Ryan. We have enough pass first guys already.
- Anderson, Electra, and McCarthy are all past their prime. I love me some Eva Mendes.
- Chicken over fish. I don't really care for chicken (its the safe dish for people who don't know what they want to eat) but I'm not a fish guy at all.
- Staal or Setoguchi? Man...we need a high end center, but we also need goal scoring. I'd be happy with either.

I know. I just figured I'd see what people thought since they were the top 3 in the 90s and now they are all somewhat old.
This may have been covered in other threads, but what the hell...
If you could only have one for the next 5 years, would you rather have an actual first-line scoring winger for Koivu or a legit #2 center between Latendresse & Marty?

top scoring winger simply because Marty and Latendresse can handle the 2nd line so long as they can get the puck out of the blueline. If Koivu can get a legitimate threat on his line, I'd expect at least 60 assists out of him a year, if not more.
