My sympathy....

Think about it this way, this maybe the last time you see NHL game in Phoenix

Unless we end up playing them in the playoffs. Then you can bet I'll be there for at least one game.

Well, from what I saw of the game, Anderson let in at least two softies - the Pyatt and Stempniak goal - but the team in front of him was equally as horrid. I saw little to no offense generated, and the defense was a joke again, letting guys get to the front of the net like usually (i.e. on the final non-empty net goal).

It's all coming apart down the stretch. The old slow defense is worn out, and the guy saving their bacon can't keep the superman act up anymore.

Offense was pretty poor. A serious problem is a lack of scoring LW. Our Rw right now is the occasional Hejduk flash of brilliance, but otherwise all Stewart...a tough task for a second year player. Duchene also isn't doing much.

We badly need Yip and Jones injected into the lineup.

I blame this loss on injuries. Jones or Yip would've & could've scored that timely goal. Either GTG or GWG it doesn't matter.

As for the game, Sacco said it perfectly; "Our star players weren't our star players tonight."

Svatos looks so awful. He was on the 2nd line with DUCHENE & HEJDUK and still couldn't do crap except a far shot which 99.999% of the goalers will see everytime. I would prefer to play Stoa.

This team is going to make the playoffs and they don't deserve it at all.

**** that opinion.

They're a young and inexperienced team that have earned their wins, points, and playoff position. They've had so many rookies step up and get the job done on a team that lacks superstars. They've fought through more injuries than all but one other team to make it where they are now.

Perhaps it's not that they don't deserve to be a playoff team, but rather you don't deserve to be an avalanche fan.

That's a selfish and disrespectful statement. Why don't you think they don't deseve it? They worked hard all year, and it's not their fault that they aren't big name/ star players. It's not their fault that they are young as well.

They deserve to be there. Whether or not they make noise in the playoff is different story, but they can learn and build from this year.

Unless they win the Conference, there's no way in hell we play them. We're going to get the eighth, MAYBE seventh position.

I want it to be Chicago/Colorado the first round.

Will Jones/Yip be back by then?

pretty sure Yip should be

everything I've heard says Jones is questionable for the playoffs

Me too. I want Chicago to get past the first round, so a first round match-up with us would be ideal

Phoenix is well within striking range of the division

I think Avs have as big a chance against Chicago as they have against any other team in the West.
