Yeah... join the club. I spent an hour trying but... they have moves that just keep hittin'. A couple times I was a breath away from my second win, but it just slipped out of reach. Even with my main man Tao.

Big tournament in Japan was just won by a guy who mains Arakune. Second place was Carl. Only 2 Jins made it out of the first round.

I finally won a few matches! Once with Ragna and once with Noel. Noel seems really cheap. I pretty much won by mashing buttons, and the drive thing.

New color schemes came out on PSN today.

Also looks like there'll be a content patch when the game comes out in Europe early next year. New characters and such.

BlazBlue.com is calling it "BlazBlue 2: Continuum Shift"... But from the looks of it there are only two new characters. Hopefully it's just a DLC style update and not a whole new game. I was always put off by Street Fighter's stupid trend of releasing game after game after game with minimal additions, so I hope that BB doesn't go down the same path.

But that Hazama dude looks cool. Kind of reminds me of Spike from Cowboy Bebop. Oh, and is it just me, or does that picture have Taokaka's boobies (as she would say) in it?

I haven't played BB in a while, just because NHL 10 came out and I've been doing Prestige Mode in COD4 in anticipation of Modern Warfare 2.

Continuum Shift on July 10th or 20th. Pre-ordering early this time to avoid being robbed by lack of shipments again. Even though they crippled Rachel.

Probably not going to buy it. Needs more characters.

Not especially. 14 unique playing characters is better than Street Fighter, which has three; shotoclones, charge characters, and Zangief.

True about Street Fighter, although I may have to get the new Super Street Fighter 4 now that I found out that it has MAKOTO in it. Favorite fighter character ever. The lack of SF3 characters in SF4 was a major reason why I didn't buy the game. Plus it seemed really clunky and was a big step backwards from Third Strike, my favorite fighter.

But I'm saying that the addition of two new characters to the original game's cast, which I have already paid for, isn't worth the price of a new game.

Mu-12 and Lambda-11 could end up being pretty similar, but no one will know until the console version hits.

But I'm interested enough in the balancing changes that they made as well as the continuation of the ridiculous story mode. I guess Rachel got nerfed into the ground and Tager is the new high tier.
