Yes. They were up 9-4 at one point.

It was 3-2 then 6-2 then 6-4 then 9-4. BC scored three times in about three minutes in the final period. The big goal was when the game was tied 1-1 and Yale on the PP. BC cleared the puck from inside its own blue line, down the ice, and it skipped past the Yale goalie.

BTW, not that it matters since they called it deflected, but delay of game for puck over glass isn't automatic in NCAA. They still can call it, but only if it's really obvious that the intent was to knock it out of play and not throw it up the boards.

RIT's jerseys look like the Flyers' third sweaters from a few years back.

Very proud of the Badgers tonight. Complete and utter domination. Talent trumps in hockey, but RIT was a nice story and played with heart against Denver. I was invited to go to the game at Ford Field on Saturday, but can't go because I have company in town over the weekend. Should be an amazing game, but the Badgers looked unstoppable tonight because every line scored and they played solid defense.

As much as I hate the Rangers (especially going into the weekend) Stepan and McDonagh are amazing and will make an impact for New York in the coming years.

It was mentioned during the first game. There was more concern the prior day but supposedly the ice guru (Dan Craig) of the NHL rectified the problems to the best of his abilities. Here's info from ESPN -- http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=5065664

The only thing that "looked" bad were the stripes across the ice, and it turns out those are the freon pipes running underneath. It looked quite smooth. Heck, one team scored 8 goals and another scored 7; I think the ice is just fine (although the opponents weren't).

Sigh, I guess I'm left to rooting for the Badgers. Stupid BC.

My prediction is lookin' pretty good. They destroyed Miami and now have to go through Wisoncsin. Both looked like the far superior teams yesterday.

The ice held up but with issues. Strong comments by Gary Thorne, I wonder how the NCAA likes being chastised for playing "in a football stadium."

Ugly Frozen Four, not very competitive, BC dominated.
