I'm thoroughly excited to see what he can do in the majors. Definitely MAJORLY unexpected though, for SURE. I wonder what's shaking, exactly.

What is it with management and putting in ROOKIES into these big late season situations.Do they EXPECT them to step up with NHL Skill instantly? Cmon at least byers has played NHL Games.Maybe grachev?

Maybe Sather pulled his head out of his ass and is trying to tank? Long shot, I know.

I don't see how bringing up a rookie who will play hard (but not necesserly great) is going to help tanking.GENIUS move glen

You realize you just complained about the Rangers putting rookies into big late season situations and then suggested they call up the youngest, lease experienced player they have available, right?

Not only that, but for a team starved for offence, he's complaining that we called up one of our most offensively gifted Hartford players.

Who knows, maybe the chemistry between Locke and PA Parenteau can ignite at the NHL level for a few days and provide this team what Jokinen hasn't been able to do.

Locke hasn't really been given a shot in the NHL since being drafted and all he does is post one solid (impressive) season after another.

Would be nice to see him do well.

Byers has played for the rangers already, grachev was invited to camp and did pretty well out there.Whats the reasoning behind calling up a random CENTER to replace a wing?

I never understand why this guy wasn't given a chance in Montreal , played like 1 nhl game in 4 years that's pretty pathetic for how well he is producing in the AHL. However I didn't see many bulldogs games when he around.

Locke sure as hell aint a kid compared to Weise, who wouldve been a much more appropriate callup.

That means Avery is out. It is not a tryout for Locke. He's injury callup.

He may be Krog.2 but he does lead the Pack in scoring. Rangers need to score more. Roll the dice

this organization kills me. the good ol boys club is alive and well.

lets call up pap and now locke, guys that have

NO FUTURE in this organization. undersized, slow ahl lifers.

meanwhile, we let heikinen- a young guy with talent- threaten to split and we lose a solid prospect who could help right now and in the future.

and both weise and grachev languish in hartford with no late season call up.

clowns.
