Backlund?

How was he against Pitt?

Any idea when he might be back?

If he is back, any chance he might play again during this regular season?

Thanks!

He was solid, nothing spectacular...rebounds were a bit of an issue.

He's day to day, no idea if he'll be back before another week or so.

A couple minutes before their first goal, I was sliding to my left and I heard something snap, Backlund said.

Groin injuries aren't good when your a goalie, even if its just a pull you have to rest it and hope it doesn't end up a tear. My guess is Backlund will be out for the rest of the six games left. A snapping sound isn't good news.

I was really impressed with him to be honest. His first 5 minutes or so were a little shaky, you could tell it was his first nhl game. But after that, he became very composed. Good positioning, excellent vision (exceptional vision), quick glove. The only things that really made me nervous were his handling of the puck and rebound control (but really wasn't too bad for a goalie playing in the NHL for the first time).

We're lucky Boosh started to play well last night, but if he doesn't get on a roll, I'm gonna be dying to have Backlund back.

If he can get healthy again before the season ends, I'd love to see him play again. Outside of his rebound control, he was great.
