You could tell that Flyers wanted to block as many shots as possible.

imo Boucher had one dangerous scoring chance against Elias. Everything else was very stoppable, going wide, hitting him in the chest or was hitting the post.

Maybe it will help his confidence and we can count on him to stop that 1st shot in the future? I mean thatís what Mike did and he was successful.

Leighton has done a lot less sucking than Boucher has. Matter of fact, Leighton hasn't sucked very much at all, where as Boucher has done very little other than suck.

So this is fair. Everyone points to the lack of offensive support he gets. There is a reason the Flyers don't score for him, and that is because they are all too busy scrambling to make sure he doesn't have to see anything resembling a scoring chance.

New Jersey outshot the Flyers, 33-25, but also had 26 shots blocked.

Leighton is a bad goalie too though, his faults are just easier to hide with good defense than Boucher's

Leighton isn't special but he just has a very good glove hand and is a big, dumb *******.

Leino is a monster.

Cant skate for ****, and falls down more then Randy Jones (ok maybe not as much), but the guys as tremendous skills. He easily dangles around people like no other.

EDIT: Also does anyone know around what period and time Leino did that dangle and almost scored a highlight real goal?

I agree. Detroit fans gave him such a bad rap and I can see why. But he's done some really cool stuff and hasn't made any bad gaffs since he's been here.

We'll have to forgive them. They've been a little spoiled and probably have higher standards than us.

Well he did play like crap for them this year, but after last year they all had really high hopes for him. I think I saw a quote that he found babcock's system too confusing/overwhelming

I caught the majority of this game on 610WIP as my radio signal faded as i drove westward across PA from the philly area.. one of the last things that happened before i lost the signal was Pronger going down after a blocked shot that was apparently a laser.. did he come back and play?

Yeah he was fine after, but it was a Kovulchuck slapper to the shoulder area. Luckily missed his face.
