... Even if the Kings lose tonight, they will still make the playoffs. Still a huge game for Quick and the Kings. This is a team that the Kings should have no problem with.

Seriously, how many other playoff teams switch their lines after every game? This is getting ridiculous. I know most teams tweak their lines from time to time, but Murray has come up with a different combination almost every game for a month. Halpern on the first line? This makes as much sense as continuing to use Stoll at the point on the #1 PP unit. Richardson, Simmonds and Kopitar formed the only line in recent weeks with any kind of offensive pressure.

I wonder if Simmonds needs to have his knee scoped again. He has seemed a little off again.

I have long accepted the fact that we will never have stable lines, I just go with the flow now and am happy when the lines achieve 75% effectiveness. If we have that 75% then we have a chance to win the game, if not, then you just wait for the next game and hope the dice grant you 75%.

This from Hammond pretty much sums it up:

Before Saturday’s game, Terry Murray talked about his reunion of the Kopitar-Smyth-Williams line and his desire to see his top players on a line together for the rest of the season. It lasted all of one game, and now Jeff Halpern gets a chance to show what he can do.

I promised myself that I wouldn't watch another game until we clinch a PO spot. I think I'm gonna break my promise today. Damn you Kings!

Clune should be dressed. Between Cluster**** and Boogaard, I don't like our inability to match...

Ugh, this is horrendously boring so far.

And Halpern on Kopitar's line is retarded.

Was watching the Boston v Buffalo game on VS. Nice to see I'm not missing a whole lot yet. lol

Pretty boring game so far, although I like boring if that means the Kings aren't losing.

Bob commenting on how Bernier MAY start tomorrow is starting to reach 'Hemsky's out' status.

What was that Stoll? Were you aiming at a fan?

Someone tell me they screen capped Bernier with his tongue sticking out like that for what seemed like 30 seconds.

To be fair to Stoll, it hit an opponent's stick and got deflected high.

Moving 50 feet closer to the net still does not help Stoll put it on target.
