Start Bernier...time for that kid to take the reins. Quicker went downhill, and I don't know where his head is at.

Tomorrow's game is a must win, if they can't get up for it then **** them, this is unreal. Calgary needs 3 wins to pass us and they have 6 games left. The flames are pathetic there is no way they are going 6-0.

A.) Sean O' Donnell is no longer capable of playing in the NHL. I'm sure he's a positive influence in the dressing room but hes a liability on the ice. He frequently fumbles/bobbles/caughs up the puck. He consistanly gets burned with opposing speed and makes some eye opening defensive blunders. There was a sequence in the third period tonight where he had the puck over by the boards in the defensive zone. He tried about 2-3 times to hack it out (was a very routine play) and wasnt able to get it out on any of the attempts, and the Wilds stripped him of the puck and got a good chance on Quik. Good team guy but really he shouldnt be seeing anywhere near the icetime he does.

B.) Your team has too many defensive only defencemen. Greene, Scudari, O Donnell is too many. Its one thing to have 3 guys who are good in the own zone that can also skate and move the puck but really none of those 3 can do those things. You guys would look so much better with a big minute eater thats a elite pucker, especially to have out there numerous times with Doughty. Kaberle would be a good fit for your team. I just think you have too much grit/plodding defencemen and really need another guy whos very good at moving the puck.

Stoll didnt havea good game tonight. He was shooting it WAY too much on the 5 on 3. He also missed the net on a bunch of shots tonight and made some questionable defensive plays imo.
Well bud why don't we start by adding more because the main freaking purpose for defenders is to defend.. Have they done that?
Obviously not, because we are getting lit up like crazy on the PK and on 5-5.

Yeah OD is definately toast. He's just way too slow in all aspects of the game.

Thanks for coming over. Next time, I promise the beers will be colder. Your observations are right on. Now, to the more important topic, Leafs and Kings? A little masochistic no?

i can`t believe this team came out with no jumpt and no will...how can this team think that IF they get into the playoffs they will do anything, they`ll be door mats...young team they should be excited for the playoffs and give it every last breathe instead of this embarrassing display. i am really pissed

All I can say is wow. Kings can't f'ing get anything going on two TWO man advantages and you think pulling quick for Bernier will solve thier problems?

I hope the Kings don't make the playoffs at this point. It will be a fast 4 and out anyways, and if they don't make it the Kings should be forced to change the coaching staff. 3-20 something on 2 man advantages is unf'ingacceptable.

GTFO!

Actually, you bring up some very good points. Many of us were calling for a puck-mover prior to the season even starting, so when Lombardi's big move ended up being Candy Jones, it's easy to see why our blueline can't break the puck out for ****.

Team is playing like garbage. Everything about the team - offense, defense, it's not good enough.

At this point this team can only depend on their goaltender to carry them. Bernier gets the start tomorrow..

If the team won against Nashville would you feel better? Or is it, win a couple more games and then maybe?

Kopitar on the other hand could probably use a demotion for a game. I mean, why not? He is the only player that hasn't been moved to another line/position. We are going to scramble them anyway, might as well put Parse-Richardson-Simmonds up there for the next experiment.

His head is pretty effin dazed because he has started almost ever effin game and TM is a total dumbass for making that happen. The Kid is yound and this is his first full season and you are making him play 65-75 games? Bernier could be our savior for the rest of the season.

After all of their "meetings" and "talk" of "intensity" and "accountability," if they haven't figured it out by now, I don't think they will.

For the record, Terry Murray wasn't the one standing with a stick one the side of a wide open net, twice, during the 5 on 3.

This team needs finish.

At least this proves we need changes in the summer. Go get Kovalchuk; even at his worse, he looks good failing.

Another frustrating loss. Stoll and Brown can't hit the side of a barn door and Williams...

Going offside on a 5-3!?! Richardson, Simmonds and Parse is the best line on a team trying to make the playoffs?
