I just hope we don't have to watch another powerplay attempt again:
They really need to go out there and equalize their penalties with penalties. Like intentional fouling in basketball.

For the Kings to have a chance tonight, Bernier will have to give up only 1 goal tonight.
Has Murray said that Bernier is definitely starting tonight?
No, and Bob Miller kept saying that Bernier "MAY" start the Nashville game. Why do I have a feeling Murray's going to go back to Quick since "he's our number one goalie and has gotten us this far?"

Terry Murray himself said that Bernier will be starting in Nashville. But I suppose it is not like he has never gone back on his word before... I would be surprised if he went with Quick though.
Quote:
“He [Bernier] will be playing in the game in Nashville tomorrow. That’s a decision we made right after the Dallas game. We got a report that Ersberg had strained his back. Our reaction is a process, and it’s a process that we always have to go through with any call-up. It started right after the Dallas game. Ersberg is feeling quite a bit better here today. He was on the ice skating in the morning, but I’ve already made the decision. I have talked to people about him playing in Nashville, and Bernier will backup here tonight and play in the game tomorrow.”

I know that, but with the way Miller was constantly stressing how Bernier MAY start the Nashville game I got the feeling there was some behind-the-scenes talk about potentially going against the original plan.

I suppose so, but I hope not. I think Quick needs to gear things back a little and re-adjust for the postseason. In my opinion, a backup needs to be taking a good 2-3 of these next 7 games.
Come all you no hopers, you jokers, and rogues! We are on the road to nowhere, let's find out where it goes! It might be a ladder to the stars, who knows? Come all you no hopers, you jokers, and rogues!
A corny song that I heard a couple weeks ago, but can't get out of my mind. It reminds me of us going into the postseason. I think it describes our predicament perfectly
::sigh:: I hope we come out hard tonight. It would be huge for the Kings to break out of their slump against a team they can't beat. Maybe Bernier will have some luck and a new perspective on Nashville, giving a team a spark. The last Nashville game (I think it was the Nashville one) we came out hard and looked great. Was that the game that Quick gave up the puck by mishandling it behind the net? That was the momentum changer in that one. Hopefully we don't have another game like that. I honestly think we can beat the Preds. Here's to hoping.
Is anyone else getting legitimately angry over the way these last couple weeks have been going? That "performance" seriously ruined my night last night. It just sucks seeing this happen at this time of year while every team around us (sans Colorado) has picked up their games. It ****ing sucks.

No. Not at all. I'm enjoying, because "everything is fine."

There is nothing to worry about. The Kings aren't going lose another game this season and they are going to win the Stanley Cup!
But in all seriousness, when I do feel myself getting angry I stop watching. I didn't watch the game last night. I feel like a retard when I legitmately get mad about something frivolous like professional sports.
With Bernier in net, you know he's going to stir up controversy by defeating the preds for the first time. And of course, he'll get the following start against the nux and defeat them as well. At least, that's how I see it playing out.
