ST.JOHNS verses MANITOBA - GDT - FRI FEB 11th

Game's already in the 2nd period. 3-2 Manitoba now.

Druken and Wellwood have the Leaf goals. Apparently Wellwood's was a real beauty.

Perrott, Ling, Wilm, Ondrus, Moro and Newbury have all been in fights so far.

J.F. Racine has now been pulled and Matt Underhill has entered the game.

Huge two man advantage penalty kill. Now turn the momentum into a goal.

Another shootout....

OT was pretty crazy. Lots of close calls and almost a couple fights too. Colaiacovo dropped his gloves and tried to go with Bieksa. Ling was involved too.

After the first five shooters it was tied 1-1. Wellwood and Bieksa with the goals.

Three stars (with announcers comments):

1. Kyle Wellwood (Who else?)
2. Lee Goren (All over the ice)
3. Marc Moro (Great on the penalty kill and a good fight)

Hardest Working Player of the Game: Matt Underhill (Came off the bench and did a real tidy job)

He let in some week goals. From every thing I have seen watching Racine is that he tends to save more of the high percentage shots then the low percentage shots. He is very quick and agile but his largest weekness is his rebound control. He gives up way more rebounds then normal and juicy ones as well. I think he has potential just needs to keep working at it.
