as half-assed as the last one, this game is on TSN so I actually get to watch it.

This could be win. There is a bad mood among black hawks.

I have a good feeling about tonight. The Blues were great against the Hawks last game in STL but Niemi stood on his head the last 30 minutes. Since that game the Hawks lost Campbell, traded Barker, and have now lost Kim Johnsson to injury. Not even close to the same team on the blue line and Niemi has been leaky lately.

Everyone says the Hawks will come out pissed and desperate but they were also pissed after 8-3 debacle in Columbus and still lost in the re-match on Sunday. The bottom line is their just not playing good right now and have lost their swagger due to some key injuries and in general lack the confidence of the mid-season Hawks.

Berg is back, Polak is back, we're healthy, the PP is clicking, and Mason has been strong the last 2.

4-2 Blues

My sister will be there. She always has a blast, even though we've been probably 7 times over the years, and the closest we've come to seeing a win was seeing an overtime loss.

If the Blues can't be in the playoffs, at least maybe I can enjoy a first-round exit by the Hawks.

Time for the Blues to play loose and beat the crap out of Chicago for once.

This is a good chance to do just that, with The Hawks' defence reeling, and their team playing poorly.

I'm so glad this game is on TSN, I think they need to put more Blues games on TSN but I see why they don't, their isn't that many Blues fans in Canada compared to other teams.

Brewer looked awful on that second goal though and Jackman almost did the same thing like 2 minutes later. Nice shot by Steen though.

My sis got her picture with the guy who sings the anthem (Charles Glenn is his name, right?).

Although she left her car in Festus to ride with friends in the city, then she got to Scottrade and realize her camera was still in her car in Festus. She has her camera phone, though.

Something tells me Cam was paying close attention when King was so effective for a couple games there.
Now Cam gets the gate, jersey not tied down, perhaps?

Nice solid win, especially playing with only 10 forwards. I hope Kariya will be okay for next game. But, it gives Berglund more time, and Steen more time on offensive (in a good way) lines.

Interesting that of The Blues 12 points scored tonight, 5 of them were by defencemen (including 2 of the 4 goals). Let's hope that E.J., Brewer and Polak can continue their upgraded offensive play, and that Colaiacovo can play better in all zones, so The Blues' offence can get additional help for the forwards.

My sis nearly met Cam Janssen. He had a game misconduct, so apparently he was the first to leave the game. My sister and the people she was riding with were on the street and Cam's car was driving by. About a dozen girls were crowded around getting autographs. My sister was 30 feet away, but she didn't want to hold up the people she was riding with, though they said they would've waited for her.

Chicago has some real problems in goal that will probably be exposed in the playoffs. We thought that early in the year, but then they seemed to pull it together. But now they have two sub-par goalies.

i was at the game last night and it was so much fun. at first the crowd was a little tentative probably because it was breakaway after breakaway and were probably expecting us to lose. but later in the game the crowd was great. only thing that was a little annoying was that a good 15% of the crows was in blackhawks jerseys. Mason was awesome tonight and all of the goals were on great plays. Also steen just amazes me so much sometimes. I almost feel like he should become part of the core and not leave unless for a very very good reason. Also there were a few times when it seems like some blues like oshie and i think backes once could have gotten a good shot off, but the held on and tried dekeing or maneuvering to get a great shot but just lost the puck in the process.

Letting Khabibulin go was seen as a mistake in Chicago. People here have been scratching their heads ever since even while The Blackhawks continued to rack up the wins. Every single game the sports radio wonks were crying about who was going to start in goal.

Now they've called up Crawford (at least once) and have Toivonen waiting. I wonder when Ears will get the call?

I'd love to see some freak injuries/meltdowns and have Hanu as the playoff starter. It would almost be worth it to see the Hawks win a cup for him to go on an amazing run and get his name on the Cup.

Almost.
