Dan Hamhuis Defense 1,300,000
Scott Hartnell Left Wing $1,300,750
Shane Hnidy Defence $725,000
Greg Johnson Centre $1,600,000
David Legwand Centre $1,775,000
Andreas Lilja Defence $750,000
Chris Mason Goal $400,000
Jim McKenzie Left Wing $700,000
Vladimir Orszagh Right Wing $1,000,000
Cam Severson Left Wing $400,000
Jeremy Stevenson Left Wing $425,000
Steve Sullivan Right Wing $3,800,000

Tomas Vokoun Goal $3,000,000
Scott Walker Right Wing $2,000,000
Marek Zidlicky Defence $1,500,000

18 players signed = 24,775,750 - 2 unsigned players Hall & Erat ... and does anyone know Dan Hamhuis' salary? ... that should put us at least at 27 or so mil after figuring in those 2 contracts ... WAY below the proposed salary floor

youngest team in the league, great prospects on the immediate horizon,by far the lowest payroll, great management vision and execution,14th most wins in the league last year and moving up rapidly....man is this team positioned to jump with any cap agreement and prosper for years....

That's without any rollback figured in.......I would anticipate that if cap agreement were to be worked out, the previous rollback would be taken out of the equation almost entirely.

FYI: If the NHLPA's 24% rollback is accepted the figures would look like (number in parenthesis is the 24% rollback):

Jamie Allison Defence 400,000 (304K)
Denis Arkhipov Centre 1,200,000 (912K)
Martin Erat Left Wing Unsigned
Adam Hall Right Wing Unsigned
Dan Hamhuis Defense 1,300,000 (988K)
Scott Hartnell Left Wing $1,300,750 (988,570)
Shane Hnidy Defence $725,000 (551K)
Greg Johnson Centre $1,600,000 (1,216,000)
David Legwand Centre $1,775,000 (1,349,000)
Andreas Lilja Defence $750,000 (570K)
Chris Mason Goal $400,000 (304K)
Jim McKenzie Left Wing $700,000 (532K)
Vladimir Orszagh Right Wing $1,000,000 (760K)
Cam Severson Left Wing $400,000 (904K)
Jeremy Stevenson Left Wing $425,000 (323K)
Steve Sullivan Right Wing $3,800,000 (2,888,000)
Kimmo Timonen Defence $2,500,000 (1,900,000)
Tomas Vokoun Goal $3,000,000 (2,280,000)
Scott Walker Right Wing $2,000,000 (1,520,000)
Marek Zidlicky Defence $1,500,000 (1,140,000)

Bringing the level to just about 18,213,570 (before Hall and Erat).

And for comparison, the NHL offered a different proposal on the roll back offer, tiered as follows:

any player making less than $800,000 would not see his salary diminished at all.
the reduction for a player making between $800,000 and $1.49 million would be 15%.
The reduction for a player making $1.5 million to $1.99 million would be 20%.
The reduction for a player making $2 million to $3.99 million would be the 24% the Union Leadership offered.
The reduction for a player making between $4 million and $4.99 million would be 30% ...
the reduction for a player making $5 million or more would be 35%.

And the Preds salaries would look like (once again, the numbers in parenthesis are the rolled back salaries):

Jamie Allison Defence 400,000
Denis Arkhipov Centre 1,200,000 (1,020,000)
Martin Erat Left Wing Unsigned
Adam Hall Right Wing Unsigned
Dan Hamhuis Defense 1,300,000 (1,105,000)
Scott Hartnell Left Wing $1,300,750 (1,105,638)
Shane Hnidy Defence $725,000
Greg Johnson Centre $1,600,000 (1,280,000)
David Legwand Centre $1,775,000 (1,420,000)
Andreas Lilja Defence $750,000
Chris Mason Goal $400,000
Jim McKenzie Left Wing $700,000
Vladimir Orszagh Right Wing $1,000,000 (850K)
Cam Severson Left Wing $400,000
Jeremy Stevenson Left Wing $425,000
Steve Sullivan Right Wing $3,800,000 (2,888,000)
Kimmo Timonen Defence $2,500,000 (1,900,000)
Tomas Vokoun Goal $3,000,000 (2,280,000)
Scott Walker Right Wing $2,000,000 (1,520,000)
Marek Zidlicky Defence $1,500,000 (1,200,000)

Grand total (with our Erat and Hall): 20,358,638.

awesome ... we could add 3/4 star players, if we wanted to ... only a few of these players deserve a pay reduction ... Walker (for being a ****, Legwand for not living up to his expectations (so far)

does anyone have a site that lists contract status and remaining contract length for all pred players?....anyone other than sully, mckenzie, stevenson, allison(?),mason(?),hnidy (?),lilja(?) that are free agents after this contract season?...trying to mentally put together next year's roster if this doesn't get resolved in time for this year, but is settled sometime prior to next year's start

Johnson is UFA. Unless he signs for cheap, I think he's gone.

I don't think that Hnidy, Lilja, Mason, and Stevenson are UFA. They'll be RFAs as long as we give them a qualifying offer. But who knows how qualifying offers will work.

I wouldn't be totally shocked to see us sign Johansson again. He's good insurance. He can play in a scoringline role or checking line role. He can play wing or center.

Sully might be gone. It depends on what he's willing to sign for. There should be quite a few "decent scorers" at good prices. In fact, I'd like to see us go after a couple of free agents. There should be a ton available.

No, it means that I asked Smokey today to sticky it, and he said he would sticky it for us all, it has nothing to do with a possible season or not
