Uhh, somebody better tell Wilson that he needs to save his hands. We really don't need him fighting, although it looks like Polak is hurt.

I think Wilson acually hurt Polak in that fight.

Yeah, but Wilson took the majority of the punches.

Umm...no. Polak has been playing with a bad shoulder and was favoring it after the fight. Wilson got his ass kicked.

All I saw was Polak crying on the refs shoulder after the fight.

Negative: 1-0 Blues and the refs are calling everything they can.
Positive: The Blues woke the Preds up when they pissed them off with the first goal.

8 scoreless periods at home...ice sucks, but both teams are playing on the same sheet...

STOP PASSING AROUND FOR THE PERFECT SHOT!!! GRIP IT AND RIP IT!!! PUMP THE PADS!!! CRASH THE NET!!! TAKE ADVANTAGE OF REBOUNDS!!!!

I attended two practices earlier this season on back to back days where Trotz strongly suggested in the first day that the team "Shoot, shoot, shoot" and the second day stopped practice twice and with a beet red face mixed several profanities in with the same message...suddenly the team started shooting the puck...surprisingly it was about the same time they turned around their season after our awful start...

I'm hoping Trotz maintains his cool, but sends a strong message to simplify the offense, stop looking for the pretty plays, keep shooting, and actually pounce on some of the rebounds that appear to be loose after every shot!!!

Trotz let loose a few f-bombs at the zebras after that blown goaltender interference call.

They need to shoot more out there, as SLake said. This isn't good so far. I'm glad Wilson fought though.

Total shots at the end of the first period were 27-15 in favor of the Preds...so they've gotta keep shooting, but it's a matter of actually getting to the rebounds that will make a difference...
