Unfortunately I'll be in Detoit, sans laptop. I'll be able to have some access to the forums via BB, but I can't make a GDT. Sabre's particularly good at it, so if she or anyone else wants it, it is theirs to have.

Thanks for declining in advance and not leaving us hanging...have fun at the game! Did you get your jersey yet?

With Midnight being unavailable...that means...the GDT for Saturday's game is open for anyone to make it!!!

On the highlights for anybody who didn't see it, Colin Wilson's goal is a thing of beauty. It seems like its been forever since we've had somebody in that position show that they have elite skills and actually done it.

Unfortunately, no. Not only have I not decided whether to get the current third or the current home, but I would have to order it online. So unless I find one in Detroit, I doubt I'll have one before the playoffs.

Good Win. Not bad for a first game followed. Haha..

Unfortunately, I watched (if you want to call it that) on espn gamecenter. The Tv stations over here were so kind as to show the ATL/WASH game on CSS, and since said game was already on VS, I got that or Whacked out sports. Which translated into getting my fishing tackle ready for tomorrow.... and watching the computer screen from time to time for updates. Hopefully the next game is on TV.

Trotz just said at the end of his post-game when asked for an update on Grebeshkov that Denis would be increasing his workload this week, but isn't expected to play again before the end of the regular season...

If he plays again this season, I owe that SOB a beer. Shot to the groin is no joke.

Franson with his minutes limited again tonight...I'm not so sure Grebeshkov isn't inserted into the lineup as soon as he's ready...

Yeah... Franson just isn't fast enough as the pace of the games speeds up and he's loosing confidence every time something goes wrong.

Franson is a rookie and making rook errors ... he's also slow for the NHL and it shows.

Now, the errors made by our top pairing are a bit of a concern.

Turnovers by every line, d-pair, player in general are killing us.

I hope he's alright physically and isn't injured, but honestly...I feel no sympathy whatsoever for the "Flying Jump Kick" headshot artist...

Didn't you see that Ken Campbell resigned from The Hockey News today?

And please. I live in Toronto, I know what the media is like. But I can't write it on here, because I'd have to use words, and words don't describe the Toronto media.
This comes close:

From 325 it looked like our first goal was tipped in by their player from up on high.

Our second was HQ determined to play every second, and Wilson following for the crumbs, great move by Wilson.

Our third was all Sully; he tried to gut out the same type play several times and this one finally worked.

Never did see/hear what Suter's Unsportsmanlike Conduct was all about.

Titanic save by Rinne at the end.

8-12 blues fans nearby who cheered for their team and quite surprisingly were not a bunch of asshats.

Wow, that game was like a microcosm of the entire season. It started slow, felt like a losing cause, saw the guys battle back with success while still making mistakes, and success in the end.

Hornqvist played maybe his most inspired hockey, which is saying something for the guy that has been the catalyst already. It wasn't always pretty but our guys got the job done. In the last 5 minutes they fought for every inch.

Pekka has turned on the afterburners- really awesome.

Saw the replay of both the Wilson and Sullivan goals...

Boy, it sure is nice to know that we drafted and developed a player with the pure offensive instinct Wilson has...he picks that puck out of Hornqvist's skates, knows exactly what he wants to do with it, and without hesitation pulls it to his backhand and roofs it over Mason!!! The celebration was great too...reminded me of another young offensive stud, but thankfully with much more control during his celebrations

Hornqvist actually signals to Goc to let him get that puck in the defensive zone because he planned to flip it high off the glass, Sully reads the play and bolts out of the zone, uses great hand-eye coordination to knock down and control the puck at full speed with a defenseman on his back, and then freezes Mason with a fake, before dekeing around him and tucking it home...

Two great goals!!!

Hated to go down 2-0, but in the end...just another GREAT night to be a Predators fan!!!

Couldn't see the game of course but just watched highlights.

Mason looked good tonight, he had a lot of big saves, but luckily we solved that and won the game.

Rinne too, amazing saves and coordination on that last drive of the game to stick the leg out and still get over to keep the puck out.

The first goal we scored, Horny with a great pass to Franson and Boyd screening, what a beauty.

And how about Wilson. Not only does the kid get into a fight but he follows Horny into the zone and picks up the puck and roofs it past Mase.

And Sully, I have no clue how he not only managed to track the puck down as it was bouncing, but with a Blues man on his back and getting awfully close to Mase, still manages to get it under control and sneak it past.

Exactly the type of game I'd have loved to watch....

One point to go, one point!

And congrats to Midnight for the GDT win, enjoy your trip to Detroit!

Hornqvist\Wilson ....JP Dumont

Two ships sailing in opposite directions, right now. Dumont shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the power play until he gets whatever is going on straightened out. He hasn't been the same player since that Burrows hit last season, IMO.
