Great job MSE!

Okay, I saw both my teams **** the bed last night. Tonight, I want to see both teams play their brains out, and win. Just win.

LET'S GO FLYERS!!

I don't know if I should be posting in your gdt, but that opening page, with the history between the two teams, was the best of its kind I've ever seen. Brought back all the memories, good, bad...fantastic job. Kudos.

Is your non-Boucher guy starting tonight? You'll beat us I bet if he does.

Have you seen Atlanta's schedule? It is damn nasty.

Thank you.

There's a possibility Sebastian Caron will be in uniform tonight according to Philly.com (newspaper). If so, Duchesne is a likely scratch. The starter between Boucher and Caron is unknown. The Coach didn't confirm a starting goalie after the game last night.

Homer looks like the dumbest GM in the NHL right now. No kidding.

What can do you, right?

As bad as it was last night, if we get right back up and win this game we aren't looking that bad

2-6-2 in last 10 games is probably the worse record in the NHL right now.

O wait, define bad?

Already calling if we destroy them (highly doubt it though) and Price is in net, people will automatically say Price had a good game but the team left him out to dry.

That being said, how we have played the last few games, I dont expect much.

Go out and do whatever Flyers.

Oh and Im calling it. Boosh gets the start.

So is this gonna be one of the handful of games that Briere plays like the highest paid player on the team?

What if Price shuts us out and Giroux is a -6?? Will your opinion change any?

Temp plate of post-game interview:

From player X “It’s in our hands but the way we played tonight is not playoff hockey. That wasn’t a team fighting for a playoff spot. We’ve got to get better efforts from everybody for tomorrow … Our desperation level has to be way higher, like a playoff team.”

From goaltender: “X goal was a bad one by me."

From player 2X: "We were a more desperate team in the first period. Up NUMBER-0, the scoreboard showed it. We need to play with desperation. We should be the team that wants the game more than they do. That wasn't the case and that's unacceptable."

From player 3X: "We just can't get rattled with lucky bounces like that, and that's what happened tonight. Two lucky bounces and it seems to rattle our bench. There's nothing any goalie could have done on those first two goals."

From player 4X: “They (TeamName's goals) were just funny goals that went in. Unfortunately, they all came in one game. We have to realize that tomorrow is a big game."

From anyone: including head coach, GM as well as players: "It's disappointing, but tomorrow is a new day."

I could handle a loss today more easily if the team plays its ass off for 60 minutes. Otherwise they don't deserve to be in the playoffs anyway. Fight for it, for ****'s sake!!

Boosh will start for #Flyers tonight. Caron will be backup. He has a home in Scranton/Wilkes Barre area, so he's thrilled to be in Phila

Wouldn't Vokoun or Roloson have looked nice now.
They would be nice to see, if Vokoun didn't cost Carter that is.

As for goalies that I would like, assuming Holmgren made a trade for one, one of Price or Halak would be high on my priority list. Niether would cost as much as, say, Vokoun and they're both young goalies who have established themselves. I prefer Price personally.

Except that does happen a lot when Price is in net. I follow most of the games every night and way too frequently does Price put up a good outing and the team in front of him just doesn't play well. They play better in front of Halak for whatever reason. Kind of reminds me of the Rangers and how crappy they are for Lundqvist.

I'm not saying that that will happen tonight, but if it does then I wouldn't be surprised.

Not sure what you're insinuating there. The team played well in front of Leighton for the most part and Boosh is a backup who has had his up and down games (the up ones where he didn't let in a bad goal and the down ones being the ones where he did let in a bad goal or two) and the team has also kind of been up and down in front of him lately (although, if you add in his starts from way earlier in the year then I would say the team has played badly in front of him overall).
