100 point season?? one more point to clinch!

I never expected this seasont o be as great as it has been! We are basically once again back in the playoff scene! I hope Rinne can power us past first round this time!!

3 games left, 4 points to get an 100 point season! Lets do it!!

Also, how about Hornqvist and Wilson!!! Future is good!

Go Predators!!

I don't think we really need to rely on goaltending to bring us past the first round. But there is nothing but positivity surrounding this team. I could see us seriously contending for the Cup this year.
GO PREDATORS!!

Goaltending will be important but not as important as guys contributing on the score sheet.

Yes. But as someone said, with playoff minutes Hörnqvist will probably score more. Anyone know if Arny is due back tonight?

So you can now admit that your outrage over letting the Wild get Sykora instead of signing him ourselves was maybe a bit premature?

haha! maybe a bit!

I wanted Afinogenov the most, and he has had a great season in Atlanta, still would have been nice, but I have zero complaints about this team and how we are playing!

good. he'll need a couple of games to get the rust off and to reintegrate with linemates

sadly, I forget about Grebs even being here. anyone else hoping he'll replace Klein instead of Franson?

It won't happen, and I was at the front of the parade to bench Kleinhuis, but both look like completely different players when they're separate. They were *briefly* reunited in yesterday's game, and almost immediately, Franzen had a great scoring chance. Then they were separated again. I have no idea what it is, but it's oil and water with those two.

Franson has far exceeded my expectations, and I think that after working out a few things over the summer(hopefully finding some way to add another gear) he'll be ready for a fulltime job next season, but he's still a little shaky, and I think we'll benefit from having the veteran Grebs back there.

Klein surprised me in a good way during the Detroit game. He was one our guys actually getting the puck out of the zone on a regular basis. If he can continue that, he needs to be in. Also, it seemed like the entire team snapped into playoff mode. They've been playing well for the entire month of March (except 3rd period SJ and the LA game), but I think they have another level. Hopefully it wasn't just Detroit.

I'm also worried about Grebs jumping in and screwing the chemistry up.

I dont think he will. He is a great player and we saw what he is capable of in his first few games with us. I say scratch Klein and keep Franson in when he returns Klein just isnt consistent enough.

Although I agree with you, I doubt Trotz will scratch Klein over Franson.

If we end up playing Phoenix, this argument becomes stronger IMO. They have a tendancy to creep down low leaving the opposing d-men open. With Franson, Weber, Suter and Grebs on the blueline, we'd get alot of quality scoring chances.

Hmm....I'm feeling it 3rd time in franchise history get to triple digit points

and with a win over Phoenix we can set a Franchise record for away game wins in a single season

I Expect to set a few Franchise records in the playoffs aswell

I really think we not only will get 100 points but will be serious contenders for the Cup. I think we'll get at least to the WCF.

Good optimism, i have to say that when talking about hockey with my friend (Kovy fan), iv told him from the beginning that i saw us making the WCF, but it's hard for other people to take us seriously because we haven't won a playoff series to date, witch i obviously hope happens.

I think that this team has incredible potential. You know who's flying under the radar? Dustin Boyd. Only drawback to the guy is his NHL 10 picture looks like Edward Cullen

WCF?? wow

I'd be happy with a series win which I think we'll get this year.
