Lets pick up 2 more points and tie Philly for #8 seed. Go Leafs and go Sabres too.

This is going to be a tough pill to swallow but ... go Pens?

Also, go Leafs, go Sabres, and, most importantly...

LET'S GO RANGERS!

With a win tonight, technically we would still be in the 9th spot via the tiebreaker (wins).

But only 2 points away from MTL in 6th, with a game in hand, if they were to lose to tonight vs BUF.

Needless to say, tonights games are huge.

What, you don't like the fact we might be only 3 points away from gaining the 6th spot after tonight?

Keep reading between the lines.

Why are people saying we have to play Auld? Lundqvist says that he isn't tired at all. He says he is taking morning skates off to stay fresh. Whats the difference between taking off games and taking off practices?

This game will be a hell of a lot tougher than last nite.

Even though we got lucky early last night, with TB not playing well in their own zone. They did respond well in keeping TB in check, and not allowing any momentum shift, with plenty of time left. Hank played well, even though TB did not create much traffic infront. So even if we got some lucky bounces, they did well to keep the advantage.

Tonight, we be a different story,... but hopefully the same result, 2 points.

A practice isn't as intense as a game?

Trust me he's tired. He's played how many straight starts? He's not going to say outright "I'm exhausted I don't know if I could keep it up" on TV for everyone (including the Panthers) to see.

Won't lie, this game has me nervous. Games with the Panthers are always tough/weird.

Go Rangers!

Never turn down a good deal today for a potentially better deal tomorrow. Start Lundqvist tonight.

You can't start Auld on the assumption that Lundqvist needs rest before the playoffs, the team hasn't even clinched a playoff spot yet!

You go with your best until you clinch a playoff spot, and if that happens to be the last day of the playoffs, so be it. If Lundqvist is exhausted, there is nothing that can be done. This clearly isn't our year anyway.

Did anyone else get an email from the Panthers about the special 15% offer for NYR season ticket holders?

This is just sad if you ask me

Speaking to Hank being tired, there are 2 types of tired, mental and physical. He probably doesn't feel tired because we are kinda all riding a strange "Wow, we might actually make the playoffs!" high. Two weeks ago, I was SALIVATING thinking of a possible top 5 pick (or higher). Now, although in reality I would rather have the pick, I am getting caught up in what has the makings of a quasi-Cinderella story.

ANYWAY, back to Henrik, have you ever heard this guy talk about his typical day off? I am sure there are late nights at Warren 77 being a rock star, but for the most part (if he is telling the truth) he is fairly sedentary. My wife and I still get a kick out of this one interview we saw where he was explaining his daily routine, don't quote me, but it was something like:

11PM: Go to bed.
10AM: Get up and get something to eat.
11AM: Go back to bed.
2PM: Get up, eat something, start the day.

I KNOW this sounds completely ridiculous, but I swear to you, it was something real close to that. Unless, of course, over the months of laughing about it from time to time, it got exaggerated.

My point is, if this is even SOMEWHAT true...how the ***** is this man EVER tired?!
