BTW, since I have to leave for work after the first, I am recording the last part of the game to watch when I get home. For those of you that have my number, if I receive a text regarding the outcome of this game, I will kill you.

Wings passing is just that little bit off today, I think in part because of the Preds stepping up to hit them whenever there's a chance.

He was lucky in that Legwand passed it into his leg instead of just shooting. He was good in that it was all he could do at that point after the giveaway.

It wasn't that Meech didn't have the talent to play defense but I think the structure and pressure of playing defense didn't mesh well with his abilities. Putting him at forward gives him leeway to be creative and just go balls to the wall without worrying about staying in position, etc.

Is this his first stint as a forward or has he played the position before at some point in his career?

True. They seem a bit off right now. Shots going everywhere, passing is meh, etc.
