Dallas Stars @ St. Louis Blues

Calgary wins in regulation and somehow this team is still breathing.

4 out if they win and both Colorado and Calgary have tough games tomorrow and we have the Jackets on Monday.

Trying to be positive here!

(Though I'm sure many on here are wishing for them to tank and improve the draft position)

it would be a little disappointing if for Kariya's day to celebrate his 400th goal he doesn't even get to play lol.

I's pretty much sure they wont make the playoffs but I want them to play hard and show that they are a good team and maybe deserved a little better than they got. and i know you don't deserve your way into the playoffs it's a spot that is earned and in my opinion we didn't earn it but we had the skill to get there. essentially i want to know which players will give it their all and play for the love of the game when there is not reward in sight. those are the players i would want on a team.

I am afraid this season is probably over after the loss with Nashville, but I really hate tanking. They have to play next 5 games to earn their place in the team for next season.

Was at the game tonight, was hoping it would be a sell out, but not close. Anyone hear the final number?

Carlos goal was a thing of beauty, on his back and on his back hand. That is just nasty and for a defenseman, makes it even better.

Our slim playoff chances are still alive. 4 out even though the Avs have a game on us, but Calgary has same amount GP as us. Both have tie breaker on us too, going to be VERY tough to get in.

I remember reading an article about how the Minnesota sell-out streak wasn't quite true and it talked about how in hockey attendance is measured in tickets distributed not the gate.

It was a nice crowd. Not quite as into it as the LA or Edmonton games and not surprising since tonight's contest was completely uneventful. While there was a lot of sloppy play, I thought both teams played pretty well defensively tonight and kept a lot of chances to the perimeter and not a lot was generated in transition. Blues D (especially Brewer-Polak) did a pretty good job on Eriksson-Richards-Neal as that's a dynamic line, and we did a good job of crashing the net. Chris Mason's rebound control was excellent tonight. We live another day...

That is how attendance is counted. There have been multiple times this year when I've gone that you can easily tell it wasn't a full house, but then the PA says it was a sell out. They didn't say anything about that tonight (unless they did while I was in the pooper).
